This is a video on how to fix your interior water leak. This usually happens mainly on passenger side around the glove box area.
The plastic cover around the windscreen deteriorate over time and lets the water get through.
This becomes a big issue once it gets to your fuse box and electrical connections.
Please try to avoid it.

Hi Alex I have seen people add silicon to seal but I found I just got new ones, what do you think is better? Just pop em in? Or add the silicone

I would say just put new one in. I've tried silicone... it worked for a year and a bit
I wonder why mazda used some kind of foam gasket instead of silicone or rubber.

To check for corrosion on contacts and etc and make sure it's dry afterwards
Tip: this video vastly over-simplifies getting both the caps and grommets off - be prepared for a challenge and make sure you have the correct tools to avoid damage
