Buenos días amigos. Tengo un problema con mi arosa 1.0, motor ALD. Tiene el testigo EPC iluminado, Vag-com dice que el error es P0571 brake switch implausible Signal. Bueno el caso es que cambie el interruptor de freno y he revisado la instalación y el problema persiste. Este coche no tiene frenos ABS ni por supuesto control de velocidad, el esquema eléctrico de las luces de frenado es muy simple positivo/fusible/interruptor freno/lamparas/masa… y tengo una pregunta: de donde coge la ECU la señal para marcar ese fallo? Que me queda por revisar? Saludos y bien día
When this fails, does it make it sound like the exhaust is blowing too? When I was driving, there was a bang and whoosh of air - then limp mode. I didn't notice and smoke but the power isn't there anymore (1.9 tdi 57reg). Thank you
Hi there. It's a similar noise. Depends on how big the hole/cut is.
Does the bluetooth function still behave the same as it does with original unit? As in through steering wheel & does info come up on mfd?
Yep works with the steering wheel controls
I fix mine every month idk why
U need to clean it properly and then use new bolts

Just noticed that xtrons says this fits Scirocco 2008 to 2011. I have a 2012 R. I suspect it is the same dash and assembly? What year model is your Scirocco?
Hi there. Yep I see what you mean. It's the same system and set up. My one is 2009 but I've had them on 2014 and 2012 models as well
I was looking at this unit last night. You've confirmed my choice. What about plugging in an existing reverse after market camera. Any problems?
I haven't plugged in Aftermarket camera yet. But it will be fine as there are adapters already in the pack 😀

I took my car to the BMW main dealer, a warning light had come up, the car has only done 60,000, they're saying the clutch and flywell are badly damaged, the car drives perfectly, my question can they tell this without stripping it down? The replacement is very expensive!
Is it knocking or etc? What's the light? Have you got a codeM
@AlexTheGrumpyOne I got the message drivetrain, they said the clutch and flywheel are badly damaged, can't see how they can tell about the fly drive until its taken off? The car has only down 60k, no knocking etc, drives perfectly.

Hi there. Thank you. The deviation values are + or - and its there to show how much the injector either overfueling or cutting down on the fuel to make the car run better. Values do go up over the time as the injector gets older.

Thanks for the video. I don’t seem to have the spring at all and as such the door will only open from inside. Is this something that’s easy to replace? Someone has suggested that it will need a whole new window regulator but I’m going there’s an easier fix?

OMG, a flat-bottomed wheel is a downgrade! I have on in my S3 and it sucks. You're turning the wheel and part of it is missing. Not good.

What if the relay is fine but the fans doesn't spin
Check fuse, wiring and ground points
Also probe and activate the fan manually to see if it works

I replaced my son's gear box and clutch really low biting point. This system seems different than a 1.6 a3 2010.

@AlexTheGrumpyOne Actually it same procedure..seemed the 1st time it got better then now it not bleeding. Only air comes out. Shall I use a pressure bleeder? Will.that be better? cos one press of the pedal it goes flat to the floor now. Only air comes out and a bit of spit of clutch/brake fluid. The fluid is still full in the resovoir
@rebel.mma.youtube use the vacuum bleeder. The level is very sensitive u literally need to keep it topped up to the top all the time. Clutch fluid pick up is higher in the bottle

Hi Alex. Just done a compression test on my Celica GT 2ZZ... Results as follows: Warmed engine to OT. Did as you explained in video: Cylinder #1 : 210 PSI Cylinder #2: 215 PSI Cylinder #3: 220 PSI Cylinder #4: 215 PSI I assume those figures are acceptable on 2ZZ or could I have carbon build up? Toyota recommend 203 PSI as healthy and 145 PSI as low... I did a boroscope inspection before the compression test and noticed dark deposits on top of pistons but didn't look "excessive" when compared to KZreadr videos highlighting carbon on pistons. Thanks in advance.
Hi there. Personally I would say that pretty good results, If you are worried about carbon build up u can always use a fuel additive to give it a clean 😀

No. Take the battery out and put back in again.

I’m having an issue with the coolant drain plug there’s what I think is a part of the frame in the way of screwing and unscrewing it anyone else have this issue or have a solution
Today my country’s MOT equivalent in northern Europe gave me a notice of too low headlights on my Xenon Scirocco (MY2013). I have noticed that the dipped beam light is way close to the car on the ground when it’s dark, but thought that it was mainly that the xenons were getting dim/losing their brightness. It is (trying) to regulate the level when starting, but (obviously) failing. What can I do myself about this? Is it possible to fix this without having to take it to a mechanic?

Hi there. That will depend on the option that they are selling at the time. If you follow my amazon link you will be able to check that In spec. Sometimes the tool comes with that special function already and that obviously is whY you wouldn't need.
I have a 2.0 TDI cabriolet on 2009, I'm getting a loud whistle from the turbo, power is hesitant at low revs but once it builds up it boosts fine. No engine codes. Checked inlet wheel on turbo and no play whatsoever. Small signs of oil nothing major. Can't find any boost leaks so far but these two intercooler pipes in this video feel quite weak and spongy on mine...could these be the problem?
I would check egr and air flow in that case. It might be getting a bit stuck

I was being silly. There is a gold adapter in the pack that attaches onto the end of the black air pump cable.

I would search for a second hand one or try and get just the motor. But check the wiring first
