Using the dashboard light level stalk, you can also replace the duplicate fuel/MPG economy gauges with a "miles to empty" gauge and a compass. This compass is different than the one that can be displayed in the middle of the speedo using the info switch.

just purchased a 23 signature mangers demo car. Solid built in Japan. Just opening the doors and closing them you can tell is a well-built vehicle.

G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺, I own a 2017 Atenza Mazda 6 I have had no troubles with it, I feel that the 2.5ltr petrol engine is a very good motor and good on fuel and the power train is terrific. The interior is beautiful the Napa leather is very nice and comfortable there are to many good points to go into but to say that they are beautifully built and the handling is great after all it won the moose test without any problems, I would buy another if I had to thank you kind regards John

Hi Jonathan, I bought a 2021.0 Signature CX5 in Canada with an 8" screen. Surprisingly, Apple CarPlay works wirelessly, and there's a WiFi option under the phones menu in the car which I doubt is doing this. Because I don't see wireless carplay as a feature for 2021 models.

If I bought a Mazda, CX five 2023 year that does not have some of the options listed because of Covid manufacturing issues am I able to have a dealer add those post purchase such as adding the Bose sound system, or the liftgate, etc.

Wow i just realized the times i thought my screen was glitching or having issues was probably bc when i got into the car i set my bag down on the volume knob and turned off the display. 🤦🏻‍♀️! It hasn’t happened but a few times since and now i think it’s this and not a problem, thank goodness bc i just bought out my cx 5 2022 lease 15 months early. I’m using more than 12k miles and i love my car and would rather stop leading and keep this one for a long time! This video was very helpful even though i have the base trim

I have a 2021CX5 Carbon Turbo and did not know about the windows! I do know about the back seats having two levels of recline. Did not know about the capability of playing videos on the display screen. Thank you for sharing!

@@dogsarefun2 on the highway I’ve seen as high as 38.6mpg with a CorkSport short ram intake. Daily I average 24-26mpg. I live just north of Clearwater and traffic has me going slow for most of the daily.

We just bought a 2023 premium plus cx5. We can get it to connect to Bluetooth and when connected through Bluetooth it plays navigation sound but not video. From your video it sounds like this is not fixable. Am I understanding correctly?

I double tap that home for clock feature but I switched it to dial clock to confuse people under 40 years old.

Oh wow I don’t think I would like that remote start that turns off as soon as I open the car. I just picked up a 2019 that has a after market remote starter and just love it. All I have to do is push on the break before putting in to drive. Thanks for the great review on this newer model

You mentioned tire rotation, do you cross them? (Front to back same side, rear to front opposite side)

I would rec always crossing only the front or rear when you do it but stick to that pattern. That way by 20k each tire has been in each position

Does the 2024 cx5 come with a full paper owners manual that explains all of these features or must buyers request the manual? Honda doesn’t provide the paper manual unless you request it.

On point 8, how do you change the settings to open the drivers door only with the button? On my car, all the doors open when the button is pressed once. I would like to change it.

Go to main screen and scroll to car settings. There you can fine tune 1 door or all doors

I love learning about the CX-5 and other Mazdas and all, but please tell me Mazda isn’t going to discontinue the Mazda3. I’m a sedan guy

there are many cases when the radar has been stolen together with Mazda’s logo on cx5 older versions. Is it hard for thieves to steal it from 2023th version?

I have a 2022 model and after 25,xxx miles have a tire roar even after rotation every oil change, 7,500 or less. I was told by Mazda tech, Mazdas need tire alignment every 10,000 because of the type of suspension...is this true?

The only current option for the digital speedometer is when equipped with the heads up display (active driving display).

Yep. No red accents (2024 CX-5 Tubo Premium in blue)

Up here where we have winter weather the badge on the grill freezes and stops working in snow or sleet. Why not add a heater to stop that from happening.

I’m on my second cx9 and had to pull over a couple times in an slushy ice storm just to clean that off. The whole front end was encased in ice, but even driving in snow trips it up. Heating it would be smart! I wonder if there’s an after-market heater thingie 🤔either that or squirt some washer fluid down it.

@@lauracebula3222just curious are you talking about the sensor used for the cruise control/picking up other cars in front of you? Other than the notification saying it’s not working right now why would it matter if you’re driving through a blizzard or other horrible visible like weather?

Can you explain why my 24 cx 5 DOES not do that with the windows. I've tried numerous times and it won't work. Can you please tell me why? Does the car have to be on? Do I have turn it on with my Mazda app then do it? What do I have to do?

Perhaps it’s the trim level? That or maybe not doing it right? I thought it might just be with the PR Plus but just tried it with my 2023 PR (not plus) and it worked

Is there HUD(head up display)on windshield for 2024 mazda cx-5 GS AWD? ventilated seats as well?

I didn't believe it when someone told me Mazdas don't offer remote start except through a phone app which requires a subscription. What a shady disappointment. Shame on Mazda.

You do not need to pay for Mazda Connected Services at this time. I just purchased a 21 CX-5 and the dealership confirmed that Mazda is not charging anything at this time to use the app.

I may be an idiot here...but in the 2024 cx-5 premium..How tf can I see my tire pressure???? I've scrolled through as much information as I can with no luck

its so sad how the north american versions get the orange side markers, in europe its a curve light so it works with the adaptive headlights and illuminates the sides really good

The title of this clip made me jump a little as I initially thought Mazda had gone BMW and was wanting a subscription fee to activate hidden features. Good to know that's not the case. If only Mazda would increase their warranties, it would show more confidence in their product and cars past 36k mi would retain value better. My guess is they do that to keep vehicle sales rates falsely high by getting current owners to replace as they approach end of warranty because full vehicle redesigns are definitely not on a consistent 3 year cycle. What say you? 🤔

Mine is base 2.5 s trim and it works

Wireless CarPlay is catch 22; qi charging isn’t always best way charging your phone especially if it’s in use with Apple car play

I thought rotating tires was a thing of the past due to radial tires?

I got a wireless adapter for android auto from Motorola.

I hate the fact that to use navigation I need to purchase a SD card! I would NOT HAVE purchased that car had I known this; Ticks me off that I was not told this at the time of purchase!!!!

For 2024 vehicles they’ve given you wireless CarPlay/ Android. (Everybody and their dog bitched to high heaven about that absence) and also upped the HP from 250 to 256… (undoubtedly a simple software tweak and not anything mechanical). Also the top spec gets side mirrors in an alternate color.

Most of this does not apply to a CX5 Select model.

Base model price in Australia is 40k😂😂

In case it is really hot or cold outside. To warm up the car or to cool the car with a/c.

It's been a sad moment when consumers find out that "what makes the vehicle move" DOES NOT include all the electrical components which cumulatively can equal an engine/transmission overhaul. That cost, which is more likely to happen than an engine/transmission failure, is the consumers responsibility. Bring back the EPA 5 year/ 80,000 mile component manufacturer coverage.

Why would you need road signs on your dash, if you look through the windscreen you will see the sign.

No Wireless CarPlay on the 2022 CX5 and it is $50,000. 👎👎 Plus Mazda didn’t offer me an upgrade to wireless when they solved their wireless problem. Also Mazda does not offer a blackout package. I don’t want chrome in these modern times. Customer should get choice.

If you have to move the seat to get out then you need to change your diet or driving position. Definately diet, obviously designed for the US market.
