Those body shots during the fight really slowed Berto down. Floyd was doing damage with those body shots.
Mayweathers body attack is sooo underated

His jabs to the body were his "secret weapon". It was full display against Corrales, set up everything with that punch, particularly his left hook upstairs
That was one of the best body combos I've ever seen

tbh when floyd combo’d arturo gatti to the body was very similar beautiful boxing
You gotta admire greatness when it presents itself. Really honored to have witnessed the best at work in this generation.
@ 0:39 That body combination is reminiscent of Floyds prime Pretty Boy Floyd persona, you can almost see the silhouette of a 25 yr old floyd here.
that was a sick 4 punch combo to the body. not to mention also dodging punches at the same time

That fight showed the different title commissions that they couldn't enforce mandatories upon Mayweather. He was too good to throw a random unproven mandatory against him. He embarrassed Guerrero.

Christianity Boxing Mafia damn for a minute there I was with you agreeing to a lot of what you were saying until you included Floyd. Don't get me wrong I love Crawford and I think he has a bright future ahead of him he's definitely has skills and takes the sports seriously. But to say he would beat Floyd and then put LOL at the end of it SMH it's starting to sound like you just don't like Floyd. It's okay if you don't like the man but don't try to diminish his skill set. No one saying that Roy Jones isn't great we all know Roy Jones is one of the greats even though he refuses to retire. But what you're saying about Floyd sounds like it's coming from emotion it doesn't sound logical
@mybrotha8144
8 жыл бұрын
Christianity Boxing Mafia you mean Pacquiao won't go nowhere near Crawford. Pacquiao already turned him down and went towards a rematch with Timothy Bradley which nobody wanted to see and I mean nobody. But that's all I have to say I'm not going to let you bait me into one of those conversations that makes no sense. I seen Crawford get hit with a lot of shots he shouldn't have got hit with and he has a solid chin but if he can get hit then he's not made for Floyd the most accurate puncher in boxing history
that body combo early in the rd by Floyd was beautiful
Those who say he's running dont understand shit in boxing
Floyd mayweather can hit his opponents whenever he wants after they connect a punch.
it's beautiful when he t off
I don't like how mayweather shows off his money but boy can he box man on a level all by himself

how come the ref was letting floyd push the head down with his forearm and punch?
Half expected Berto to call Floyd Senpai after 2:12 😂😂

Berto said in an interview after being in the ring with Floyd, that it never even felt like he had been in a fight lol
@princeofjudaea

Authentic Self Guide he was explaining how good Mayweather actually was and how hard it was to compete against him. It felt like sparring to him because he wasn't able to apply any real pressure on Mayweather the entire fight. Mayweather controlled him like a snake charmer.
Berto looks like he has pillows for gloves...
Mayweather puts him in the headlock and bayless says nothing then berto puts mayweather in the headlock then bayless says no no no lol 😂

Where is the rest of the fight ?
So many people criticize Floyd Mayweather for potshots cause he is afraid to be hit but that's so far off real boxers and real boxing fans should know that potshots are super affective because to the judges your landing the clean and effective punches, it allows you to use offensive pressure with speed and skills to catch your opponent off guard, it makes your opponent defensive, cautious and they will hesitate to throw there own punches and it frustrates your opponents cause they don't like being surprised by punches and they will want to attack you but won't be able to so I hope anyone reads this understand's now why Floyd Mayweather does that and it's one of many reasons that make him the greatest boxer ever of all time...#TMT...

A couple of bad rounds by MayWeather doesn't mean he lost fights does it. There's those fans who like his fighting style and those who hate his fighting style. His style has kept him undefeated his whole boxing career, if he'd fought the way the fans wanted him to fight he'd lost every fight he was in, glad he's his own Man, he did it his way and beat everyone he faced. Undefeated and undisputed...
Good round stop the hate yall couldn't do that

Imagine giving your Pops pound after you just whoop some Ass and collecting a Check for Millions afterwards. Floyd lived it up
Got outclassed completely
Burto put in some nice work that round. Never seen Floyd get hit that many times in a match less know one round.
fuckin hell floyd hittin berto with heat in that right hand
That uppercut at 1:04 tho!
@vicshephard9231
4 жыл бұрын
He led with an uppercut against a champion. Money was nasty.
Floyd always had the sickest gloves
The difference here is Floyd is so much sharper, everything done with ease and finesse and he got these slight sharp slips and fights at his own pace while Berto throws everything hard, just kept coming, making eeiish eish sounds and breathing heavy and forcing the work rate.He is setting no traps and just throwing punches with no feints.He doesnt even take a step back and just walks forward in a straight line and Floyd just takes a step back and picks a shot and boom .I get they trying to outwork Floyd and overwhelm him but damn there was to be some method to that madness.
@uwaisdesai775
7 жыл бұрын
Floyds sense of distance is exceptional and even more impressive because he barely uses a jab to measure distance.
Hats off to berto he landed shots and evaded some too
Berto and floyd are buddies. Berto took the check and the dive.
WHY DO BERTOS GLOVES LOOK LARGER?? Or is it just me?
Floyds doing good here. Honestly, what I don't like is that ref. It's the same ref every mayweather fight and he caters to mayweather. Floyd can hold all day, throw punches in the clinche. As soon as Berto punches while being clinched or clinches Floyd the ref stops them almost immediately.
lol Floyd had him in a headlock throwing uppercuts
Floyd in all his fights was just too elusive... Unstoppable..
@TatsumakiSenpuuKyaku
4 жыл бұрын
Ummm Castillo 1?
Berto was the one that was suppose to hit Floyd to the body and slow him down , but from what I just saw Floyd landed about 10 solid punches to the body, that was good work on Floyds part. Floyd basically landed at will and most people know Berto does have fast hands and missed most of his shots.
How can anyone who knows boxing not appreciate Mayweather's defensive and counter punching acumen? It amazes me the number of people who find the sweet science boring. Seems like there are just alot of casual boxing fans that need to go watch UFC
Somehow the media has twisted the narrative making Floyd out to be a "boring fighter" Seen every fight never been bored
hahahhaha thats how it gonna be tonight like
watch the fight in reverse and ull see berto won
till this day i cant believe Mayweather fought Andre fucking berto
