This was handmade by Ryan Edward whose card making website INSET cards and curiosity seemed to have disappeared as all of his work are now published and mass produced by US Games System.

I adore that deck. I have the MM edition, but the sound of that card stock is divine. He lives near me, actually. He’s from St: Louis, too.

The cardstock is basically watercolour paper from what I can make out. Do you know what happened t his website. He seemed to have deleted it since I can't find it again. Judging from his IG account perhaps he has moved on from cartomancy crafts ("Inset Cards & Curiosities") now that all of his cartomancy creations are pretty much under US Games' management? I have no idea. But these paper are HARD to shuffle LOL as you can see there they stuck together badly. Card makers who made them in the old style usually rub soap on the each side of the paper / card one by one by hand. A lot of work. But the likes of Agnes from Kartograme, and Pablo Robledo (not sure if Sullivan Hismans does the same or if he uses something else) do them beautifully!
