I am trying to prevent a reading slump in May by not selecting a big TBR. I enjoyed the woman in white quite a bit. Nice stack!

It's been a weird spring for sure. I think I would have been slumping no matter what I did! It seems to be over now, so yay!

Wilkie Collins has become one of my favorite classic authors! The Woman in White is great! I liked the Moonstone even more! Happy May Reading!

I have really enjoyed everything I've read by him this year. He's definitely trying to knock a few authors off their pedastal. I'm enjoying The Woman in White but, like you, I think I might like the Moonstone better. I'm definitely going to have to tier rank them at years end. I highly recommend No Name if you haven't read that one of his.

April has been rough for me, too. I've read some really good books but I've DNFd even more, which is so frustrating. I hope this game heads off the slump for you!

Yes, that sounds like my April as well. For some reason I just couldn't get into anything I picked up.

I like your new game! Its fun to make TBRs even if we don't read them all or read something not in it lol.

Yup! I think it would have happened no matter what as I was just super distracted by moving. Things are mostly worked out now, so May should be better.

I love the "Three Men in a Boat" serie!!! So funny!!! I have so many books on my May TBR! I love readathons too much 😅 I have 25 books and even if some are short I don't think that I can read all of them! So it's more a May/June TBR 😊

Thanks! I think I was just super distracted with planning for my move and couldn't settle into reading.

My head is spinning I don’t get how the game works, I like simple pulling from a jar but maybe this is just another indicator of my aging brain 😢. I really just want to hear your thoughts on the books you read and are looking forward to reading and upcoming releases

No worries. You don't need to get the game. It'll all make sense eventually.

I think you should nix the games, not post TBR videos or maybe which buddy reads you'll be doing, then give us a weekly wrap up of where your mood takes you. It hurts me to see mood readers trying to fit themselves into a TBR.😅❤
