Books That Will Transform Your Life | Ai Generated Reading List: Episode 2
Rory Gilmore has got nothing on this reading list! After trying out an Ai generated reading list I couldn't help but try again. This time I choose two well known rivals from my childhood, Optimus Prime and Megatron, to get a since of what happens when Ai* is asked to create a summer reading list for two opposite readers. For transformer not only did I have it suggest a list of books but I also made sure to get a few general genres that may be of interest. What was generated was more than I expected. Let me know if you're team Autobots or if you find yourself reading with the Decpticons! Thanks for watching! #booktube #transformers #summerreading
*All books suggested as well as the "logic" behind them were generated by Open Ai Chat GPT.

Speaking of Ayn Rand - a thing I never like to do - there's a terrific podcast called "Past, Present, Future," hosted by English historian David Runciman. For the past few weeks he's been talking about great political novels and it's been just fascinating. His takes on Middlemarch and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are must-listens. Anyway, yesterday I listened to what he had to say about Atlas Shrugged. Ayn apparently suffered from a bad case of logorrhea - the thing is longer than War and Peace (!) because she keeps hammering her message into the reader's head by repeating herself over and over again. There's no way I'll ever waste my time reading it, but I do highly recommend Runciman's analysis. It explains so much. Even Elon Musk.

ooo. Sounds good. I'll definitely look it up. I read Rand a long time ago and was not impressed. I also was not surprised that she was all over Megatron's list. 😉
Very interesting!

I remember my father trying to get my brother and me hooked on Transformers but we just didn't care at all lol I think it felt too "old" for us. From the list I've read The Art of War, The Alchemist, and LOTR (I hated LOTR lol). The Prince by Machiavelli and 1984 are on my TBR and I want to read them soooo badly. I love this idea! The video was so fun ❤

This was fun. Do we know a Megatron?

Yes, I think we all know a Megatron (or two) in our lives, sadly. But, hopefully our lives are full of Optimus Primes as well.
Ha! This was hilarious!

I thought so. My favorite part was how well "thought out" the recommendations were.
Both transformers would have already read The Art of War, if they were smart. My youngest read it in his teens and convinced me to read it not too long ago. I hated my translation though. His was much better. LOL I KNEW the first book that was going to be recommended for Megatron. I don't know who the cartoon characters are, but I'm curious to know who the ai would want to win. My son in law has read Atlas Shrugged and suggested I read it. I still haven't. I don't even know what it's about.

Yes, The Art of War would definitely be a reread for both. You should try Atlas Shrugged. My guess is you'd have ALOT to say about it. It's probably better to go in blind and just take it as it comes.

@@noteworthyfiction LOL u-oh, ALOT to say about it? Is that good or bad? 😂 I told my son about your video and he was really curious and we talked a bit. I didn't know about the transformers, but surprisingly he did! LOL thank you for the info on the book. I guess I'll try and find an inexpensive copy. =)

Based on the results I got here I think I would have to share waaaay to much about myself to get a reading list that was anywhere near helpful.
too deep for me
