I just bought this fan brand new and has a completly different motor, its only drawing 185 watts on low and 261 on high. you got a good one, hang on to it, I guess I will have to find a used one to get the big motor

Nice Durm Fan. Those Drum fans are sold at Home Depot with the Orange Shroud instead of yellow.

Here's a mixed review: I have that same fan, everything works - but mine vibrates quite a bit compared to yours.
