My Lord, why as this man been missed, for the first time in years i have watched something that brought a tear to my eye , no more of this rock crap, give us more of Maxwell Thorpe, He is truely a gift from God J Roberts, USMC.

My god, my god, and I really mean this, just absolutely beautiful - Pavarotti no. 2? Just has to be!!

With my eyes closed pictures of famous italien tenors float inside my mind...really strong performance.

W hen he sings I cry and I'm old it's just such a voice

He is Maxwell THORPE No 1 +. He should Win and shame on BGT for him not winning. So humble and well mannered. LOVE HIM.

@carolallison862. Hello. I just happened on this man. His voice is perfection and l love his passion. I love Paul Potts but feel that this man’s voice is stronger. I didn’t see the other performers, so l don’t know why he didn’t win. I have watched these shows hundreds of times and have been floored by some of the results. It doesn’t seem to matter, for example, how talented you are. If there’s a ‘dog and owner’ routine, they inevitably win. I find this utterly exasperating! The thing is, people vote for their favourites, and that’s the bottom line. A young opera singer with an outstanding voice by the name of Laura Breton ( 12 yrs old?) absolutely should have won but a young girl by the name of Grace Vanderwall who sang and played a ukulele won. She was talented but l felt that the humble opera singer should have won. The girl who won was quite sure of herself and had quite an ego. It was a letdown. I do find that those with tremendous talent who don’t win, get picked up by talent scouts anyway.

You cannot fake a voice like this. God given, yes. Yet, many are given wonderful gifts, but never commit to the discipline and effort. This man soared. Pray he can put his family together again. Bravo.

I have watched him singing this wonderful eternal song , 10 times already and he never cease to amaze me . He should have won the competition hands down .

I think I may be speaking for many people when I say, we mere mortals see pure talent in Maxwell¬ the £signs that talent producers see with an act that they can put into multiple scenarios. Don't know why, but he reminds me of Mario Lanza.. My late grandfather used to watch all his movies and played numerous opera singers on the old LP's... voices when I was little. You'll go far, Simon won't let you walk away I'm sure of it
