You're totally right. The previous owner installed them on the wrong side and I just installed the new ones the same way because I didn't double check. I think it's probably fine but I'm gonna swap them anyway

cool install video. I moved from cali to michigan. I used silicone and wd-40 on my most recent install.

I am seeing people comparing R56 to Honda’s which are completely different vehicles. Reading comments saying these suck BC SUCK BLAH BLAH BLAH, maybe they are adjusted wrong or they are more like a universal fit like DC EG which are not the same car. Have the same ones for my 06 R53 and these are the best purchased item i could have made. Rides smooths ASF the bottom didn't come lose on mines lol that just goes to show you ever car owner drives differently...I'm lmao at people saying they are garbage..I've had mines over a year daily driving on them as well lol

Had the same issue with the rear bracket just cut and re welded them in the correct spot and haven’t had any issues since

@@NickSabella I bout them a little over a year ago so I’m not sure about whether or not they’re still made that way

Bought these for my R53, silly set up on the rear. The damping adjustment is on the top, so need to remove them to make adjustments, Plus no tabs on the front for the pinch bolt. Also after a few k's of driving the rear right is knocking at the top so will need to strip them out and see.

Same thing happened to me. The top nut came loose. Tightened it back up and haven’t had a problem since. I agree with having to remove them to adjust dampening is silly.

@@NickSabella yeah the top mount bolt had worked its way loose, sorted now.

My front tires are rubbing on the coilovers adjustment rings. Has anybody had the same problem? Do I need to add wheel spacers?

nought these before for my prelude and got em again for my r33 skyline. haters could hate. for the price i could buy these every 3 years. btw lasted 3 years on the prelude and sold it with it working properly

Yeah, I bought the same set for a R53 and the bottom came loose. They are garbage I have to say. Just spend the extra money and get some better ones!

I can literately hear them bottoming out over bumps in the video. Complete trash. I've been in cars with them installed, and just laughed at how awful they were. Once you buy premium brand coilovers (no, not that BC Racing junk either), you'll never go back to subpar componets again. Highly suggest spending the money for FortuneAutos, RS*R, Ohlins, etc. I ran a supper stiff chassis EG civic on Fortune Autos, and was comfortable enough to daily drive, and handled insanely well. Much better than the trash BC Racing coilovers that came with the car. Most of whats popular, is only popular because of price. BC/D2/KSport/Meagan/Etc are all pretty much manufactured in the same place. You're just buying a color scheme and sticker. Maxpeeding is just trying to be the next Raceland, but at least Raceland's don't have to BE CUT TO WORK. I can understand the more positive review, more so because they were free for you. But sometimes, you need to take off the rose colored glasses and just be real.

The fenders in this car aren't cut under the flares, so the tires hit the stock rear quarters before the coilovers would bottom out which wasn't even happening in this video. I think what you're hearing is my rattling rear sway bar. (The bushings need to be replaced). As far as recommending the more expensive coilovers, I also recommend more expensive coilovers to anyone who can afford them. I was pretty much just comparing these to racelands, and I think I clearly stated the pros and cons to both. You're right about these needing to be cut to fit. That was a pretty big red flag for me, but when I contacted them about it, they did send me new lowers that fit without modification. I made sure to clearly document my entire experience with these in my video, so viewers like you can see everything I dealt with and make their own decision on whether its worth it or not.

Saving on suspension is like buying budget condoms. Accidents gonna happen

@@NickSabella sadly i purchased some for a civic hatch and they blew ass. I should have read reviews first. After installing and realizing they are trash i then read the hundreds upon hundreds of reviews stating the same thing i found. I then bought bc coilovers with swift springs and they were amazing. I bought bc extreme low for my k swapped mr2 spyder and they also had a amazing ride.

never ever buy these cheap fully threaded style coil overs. .garbage
