I think the person he helped the most that was the most noble and profound his donor who got his mom pregnant. He abandoned Tyler Perry and his mom but when Mr. Perry made it big he provided for him even though he didn't have a bond or relationship with the dude.

The amount of actors I have personally seen say I was ready to give up and quit, until Tyler Perry came along and finally gave them their big break...is countless. I can not wait to see this, I have been a Tyler Perry fan ever since I was 5 years old in 2011, now that I'm 18, I am so grateful to this Entertainment Mogul . I love watching the stage Plays because all of them are very funny and they leave behind messages that people can get across, that also goes along with the Movies and Television shows as well and I also love love love love Madea, My mom introduced me to his Plays , the early ones in the 2000's because she was a big fan as well until she passed in 2014 and I still watch Tyler Perry till this day because they helped keep me going along with my family. I also want to become a mogul as well and I'm also starting out as a playwright as well.

I don't think don't want him to win thats in your head . However I think folks can be critical of some of his work the writing and some of the acting thats ok just like they are critical of some of the other greats heck spike Lee . Martin Scorsese . Steven Spielberg and other greats have put out stuff that sucks and folks were critical he's not immune to any criticism his work is bad sometimes I'm sure he knows that nothing personal

I do not know a lot about his story, what I know is that I remember mentioning him in one of my patients who happened to mention that he tried to commit suicide many times with no success. He really is an inspiration, no doubt about it. I would have been a proud mom as well. All the best to him and his family ✌️

I saw Tyler Perry’s stage play back 4 years ago and it was amazing I loved everything about the play from the set all the way to the crew especially the singing and the band it was amazing. Tyler Perry has taught us valuable lessons and I thank him for it, I hope one day I can meet him and thank him truly.❤❤❤

I love Tyler Perry and praise God for his Momma who clearly raised him up in the fear and admonition of The Lord. The light Tyler shines in this world is a beacon to those who are lost. I have never forgotten taking one of my sisters (who "believed" in God, but wasn't sure) to see the movie *I Can Do Bad All By Myself.* There was a point where there is a church service that was SO POWERFUL that when the pastor did the altar call, my sister actually started standing up and then realized we were in a movie theater and not actually at church! She now regularly joins me in Bible Study. Thank you, Lord God of All. And Thank you, Tyler Perry!

Excellent documentary to a stellar man with so many talents. I attended his early plays in Hollywood and enjoyed Madea's character and the audience always responding.. Hats off to directors Gelila Bekele and Armani Ortiz...you brought tears to my eyes at the end. I appreciate this documentary on Tyler and love that he has a son now to inspire him more....I recommended this film to all !!!!
