You're such a great father. Teaching, encouraging and trusting them with their skills. The girls are defnitely gonna make it! Your family is an inspiration. God bless you and your family!
A good father,a great teacher & meaningfully practical lessons.Good example.
"can you really say we are stuck with this kind of weather" that's the golden attitude that makes anything fun.
Please tell Sarah we miss seeing her. Praying she and her husband are doing well! Love your post!!
I love this family, so much fun! My observation, when you find someone you looks at you like Rose looks at Jeff, hang on to her tightly, give her what you her heart desires, and she will follow you into the woods(maybe he followed her!) and stay with you forever. Yes, its a romantic notion, but you can't deny the love she has for him in those moments. Of course, if you need proof, those great girls are all you need to see. Again, love watching this family grow and survive!
Rookie move? Jeff, it figures your daughter has to come to the rescue… (part of the plan?) I figure it was your plan to give your daughter a real life lesson in vehicle extraction… you’re an excellent teacher! A great Dad! Some day, long into the future, she’ll thank you! Fresh-water Ling is so yummy! It’s so good, it should be illegal…
Nice McGyver fix, & great double clean reaction to having someone fill the crack in!!!
WoW Them are some nice fish for sure! That sunset was amazing!! That Bob Cat swimming across there was pretty cool!! Thanks for sharing!!! 👍💞💞💝💞💞👍
Your family, especially your children, is so adapted to outdoor living, they can literally teach the city dweller the meaning of life.
Now that's life in the bush...thanks for no drama what it is life. love it!

16:28...can't quit laughing. Saw that all coming. Thank you for sharing this video. I think I may have enjoyed this one more than your gold prospect video's. This is priceless. God bless
Beautiful people and beautiful paradise 🪖⚒️🤘💪🤙👍👊🤣
Love it! Rose 🌹 the defender of your crack! Awesome stuff!😂😂😂
I used to work for an old Merchant Marine. He taught me that in a pinch you can patch small leaks in your boat with sawdust. Just pack the sawdust into the leak and it should buy you enough time to get to where you're going. Keep a supply of sawdust onboard in a water tight container. With the patch you fashioned sawdust would have fortified the fix. When you first discovered the leak out on the lake you could have plugged the leak long enough to pump the bilge out then you could have packed the hole with sawdust and made it back to shore at your leisure. Take care. sincerely, Dean O. :-I
Craving Fish after that video.....Awesome adventure and harvest everyone
I've always said it, 'Your Family Rocks', and puts-out the best videos on You Tube! Thanks so much!🥰🥰🥰
What a beautiful way to spend your day
You should put a warning on these videos. I watched this just after my dinner, and now I want a boatfull of freshly cooked fish. 😋 Great video. 👍
The lynx footage was awesome.
1st I’m sad I’m in Louisiana because I’d love to meet Joy. She’s beautiful and don’t mind getting her hands dirty in the outdoors ! I’d move there in a heartbeat to share the beauty. 2nd I’ve seen three different times bobcats swim and once a cougar swim. Who says cats can’t swim. They have to get to the other side somehow 😁 ! Love your beautiful talented young ladies. You’re raising them the right way ever !
Rose 🌹is the kindest person I’ve ever seen she’s has the most gentlest soul I’ve ever known and so supportive of her husband who’s a holly terrier 🌝☄️but a genuinely talented hilarious man who’s always fascinated with life 🌞🌈and who has an amazing flock of daughters🚣♂️🤽♀️🤽🏄♀️ who are constantly moving and grooving with projects and a lifestyle experience I could only imagine or relate in kindness to they are busy girls individually or a group very self sufficient and live adventures and are so very very adaptable to the seasonal changes and are quite capable of living independently they are absolutely killing the off the gird lifestyle challenges but so lovingly caring for each other and happy 😆 however the boat repairs that was a classic example of making do with what you got ⛴my mouth was salivating when you cook those fish 🐠🐟🐟🐳great viewing guys 10/10 appreciate you 🌲🌳🌸🌸🌼🌺
Great start to the Spring!! A Little Challenge getting vehicles and Boat in👍Can’t beat out on the water catching rainbows and Ling Cod.. Hearing all your girls laughing and enjoying the outdoors with you is PRICELESS 👍 The Lynx swimming across that distance in Very Cold water PRICELESS 2… Boat repair 3….One of your Top 5 videos👍 Thanks for a glimpse of your Amazing Family Life😊 B Deacon Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦

You guys are such a hoot! Ohhh, and I’m looking for a bunch of Joy in my life…. 😂. Seriously love what you’re all doing……enjoying Life
There was a lake near the house we used to go to all the time. We could be there in less than fifteen minutes, but one time it took us nearly two hours! It was my wife and I, and five girls between eleven and fourteen years old. Three were our daughters, and also two of their friends. The lake was in an open area that used to be a pasture, but we had to go down a winding trail through some woods to get to it. It had rained recently, so one of the low spots was flooded. I tried to keep one side of our car on a bank where it was dry, but it was too steep. Just as we hit the deepest part the wheels slid down the bank. The fan splashed water onto the distributor and our car stalled. I got out into knee deep water (flooding the car) and dried out the distributor, but when I tried to start the car the starter turned just a bit and quit! I was an auto mechanic and always carried a toolbox anywhere I went. I got out the car jack and jacked up the corner closest to the starter, and removed it. Luckily the car was high enough that it was barely out of the water. When I took it apart I instantly saw the problem. Sand and mud had made it's way inside and had lodged underneath the brushes so they weren't making contact. I cleaned everything up, put the starter back together and reinstalled it on the car. I started the car while it was on the jack so the starter wouldn't pick up any more sand and mud, let the jack down, and drove slowly out of the mudhole so water wouldn't be piling up in front of the car and picked up by the fan. After about two hours, an hour or more spent with me nearly covered in water and mud, we made it to our fishing lake. After I got dried out we all had a good time fishing. When we left, we went a different way! It was around four or five miles further, but at least we didn't have to fight that mudhole again!
You guys make me smile! 😃
Ur soon gonna be No.1 Channel buddy
Thanks to the parents for raising and teaching the girls how to have fun but making sure they know hard work pays off

A tire plug would work great or a part of any rubber seal ... You got it really good tho and I'm still watching the video to see anything else may happen lol
I love your videos. There great 👍 👌 👏 😀 🙌.
Might should carry a few various size wooden tapered plugs in that riveted boat. Yea.
Beautiful BC . If they say we can’t eat beef now … fish is it !
Morning folks, Happy Father's Day to Jeff from the land of Blaze King. Something I learned the hard way - if you're still running old school steel winch cable, throw a heavy work jacket across the cable. If something lets go the jacket helps the cable drop faster instead of causing body work. I missed some fruit wood earlier this spring, but am still keeping an eye out for some. Stay well.
It’s amazing how far Matt’s gripp reaches , he never ceases to help , great program Thankyou .
The fish looks like it tastes wonderful
You kids have the best adventures!! Rose is the best sport EVER!!!! You and your girls are such a pleasure! Thank you so much for sharing these amazing adventures! What an awesome way to fish for lingcod!! And that lynx!! The things your daughters see and experience. They are SO AWESOME!! Love the skills they learn and experience!! Keep the fun coming!!
BTW I lost it when the girls started throwing stuff down your crack! That was some pretty funny stuff!
I love your never-ending well of enthusiasm for every fish, every meal, every accomplishment, but most of all, I am so impressed with your ability to laugh and see the humor in the "crappy" situations. Most dads would have been fuming at getting the truck and boat stuck in the snow, or having a hole in the boat. You just treat it as another fun activity and that's a great lesson for most of us.
Hey Jeff you need an assortment of JB weld for the old boat! Water weld is a boaters must have.
Love it! You get stuck and your one daughter goes, "rookie move." That was hilarious. Obviously from a daughter who loves and knows she is loved, you sir are doing a good job as a dad.
you have no idea the joy I get watching these videos. Great job my man.
When I was a guide in the BWCA we always carried marine epoxy (which cures under water) in case we had issues with our aluminum canoes.
I used to have a riveted boat, about half the rivets leaked. I welded them all with wonder rod from harbor freight. Something to keep on the boat for temporary emergency repairs would be flex seal tape or some other water proof tape. Only rely on it to get back to the dock. You can also get nylon screws that can be used to plug a small hole.

I've never had any luck with flex seal, epoxy is the way to go for on the lake/River repairs.

@@AL4N. epoxy can be an issue with thermal shock, something probably not an issue in northern bc, corrosion would be my concern when getting used in salt and epoxy delaminating from the aluminum, but if the aluminum is clean and free of oils and the epoxy pushes through the hole it should seal pretty good.

@@cm5838 You make a good point with salt water use. I'm in Northern Michigan so that has never crossed my mind.

@@AL4N. I noticed it’s not so bad in a tiller hand start powered boat but when you add an electrical system the electrolysis can really take hold.
Bottom feeders are always mild tasting and flackey those fish look tasty. You need to come to Virginia Beach and go tuna fishing or cobia, stripper, flounder, tog ,wahoo, Mahi think you would love some fresh yellow fin tuna rolls. Love the videos 📹
Great stuff! 👍
Nice fishing,you so cool family
Your all fantastic . What fun. Good to see a good man and family living life as intended. Thank you
Haha! Hard to beat 4-wheeling in the snow with a boat attached! Love all your videos, but this one was extra good. Using trout heads and tails to catch even more fish is a win win deal! The women in that family are awesome, and it was nice to see them "helping" Jeff repair the boat! Well, mostly helping! Nice job on the boat repair, though. The lynx video was amazing. I had no idea that they would swim that far. Guess those huge feet are good for paddling in the water, as well as keeping them on top of the snow! Another fun and interesting video, as they all are, and it's always disappointing when they end. God bless your family.
Everything everyone has ever said about Respecting you and you TEAM, multiply that by 1000!!! Whether you know it or not your youtube channel is the MOST positive channel that I have seen!!! You and Your family are Super Hero's in my book. p.s. keep some ''Dubble Bubble'' bubble gum in the glove box for leaks.

As always your family is a ray of sunshine during dark times. I have complimented you, your beautiful wife and beautiful daughters many times before but they deserve much recognition and praise for all their individual skills and group efforts. What a wonderful family. By watching your channel I see some of my own shortcomings in raising my own blended family of 5. If I had found your channel 25 years ago I would definitely have used you as a mentor and a how to be a good father, lead and guide a family coach. Happy Belated Fathers Day. Continued blessing heaped upon you and your entire family. Thank you for sharing everything with us who sometimes live vicariously through your great adventures and endeavors. Oh and btw, the fish haul was pretty phenomenal too.

Try soaking the ling in salt water for a couple days under refrigeration for a more flavourful fish if fresh ling is a bit plain.
You are blessed !
