switching is important. But focusing on it too much will lead to improper/bad mechanics. switching and pushing aka projection are like stride frequency and length. Both are just the result of forces! There is one universal cue that works pretty good: It's bring the trunk (COM) forward! And don't think limbs/legs. Just think trunk in the desired direction. This leads to the proper muscle activation pattern!

Switching is pulling the leg up faster mostly hip flexor and pushing is striking bad into the ground. BRINGING THE TRUNK FORWARD IS TERRIBLE forcing the forward lean by pushing the upper body forward is a terrible flaw if you want a lean use your legs to make it happen your body will fully project and straighten because of your legs and way you setup before it started

i understand what you want to say. I just think focusing on leg movement is wrong because sprinting MUST be reflexive. I seems logical to think: push the leg down and back and/or pull the recovery leg forward quickly. But it doesn't work because thinking is slow and kills the reflex. Instead it's much easier to just think trunk forward. Every think else should follow reflexive. At that moment you try to force a limb movement for example pushing the ground you will slow down! This is the hardest thing in sprinting to learn. so many athletes even pros fail. You never consciously try to ran faster. It must happen by itself.@@Messup7654
