The most sensitive, intelligent and compassionate people that i know, suffer from anxiety and depression. If anyone can through this life without going through depression,i think that they're probably the ones who are in greatest need of some Yoik. God bless ye mate. Stay strong.

I think singing Joik is not in Samí language it´s just stringing syllables together the feeling of the heart

A Jojk is not written with lyrics but with emotions. There's no text in this, it's merely sounds that represent what you feel.

Beautiful, beautiful people with an extraordinary culture❤️❤️❤️

always looking at different cultural expression in music...this is inspiringly beautiful maxida
Knowing that it's an old tradition, this is beautiful in a current sort of way. It's funny how many people seem to want lyrics, i.e. specific meaning, to these songs. I love this one.
My people 😭 ♥️⭕️💙
Albumet 'Mountain Songs and Other Stories' er en fantastisk bra utgivelse. Wow!
This is wonderful, great understanding of the tradition plus made in a modern style., Definitely love it! I wish to hear more from you soon (like an album or something).
This is so beautiful! You should definitely make a pure jojk album!

Hei Maxida, din røst er sterk (strong) og den kan hørest over fjellheimen ( the mountians) her oppe i nord. Takk for at du skaper liv. Kräm från Tromsø (også Karlsøya .. )
Fantastisk Inspirerande Låt - Maxida Märäk !
Otroligt vackert!
Very Beautiful Music!
I Wish I could add this to my Spotify Playlists I Love it - Thank you for sharing :-)
Beautiful voice, beautiful joik
Very fantastic jojk ever
nydelig, perfekt på en lørdagsmorgen😀 love it❤

Beautifull,....like the midnattssol 😉
I share the same last name with Maxida. I don't know if I have Sammi heritage. When I listen to this music it sure does make me feel like I do. thank you Maxida.

What a beautiful woman! God's creation! Magical. Like the beginning of Humanity. The song sounds like Native American.
Nothing more beautiful than Sami culture and traditions . Very much in love with a Sami
Min dotter Luna älskar verkligen den här.. Hon är 8 månader. Fantastiskt vacker jojk.
En: I have to admit, this is really good. She has a soft-to-strong voice which matches well with the relaxing music and I think it was a nice addition to have that rattle-like instrument sound to enhance the rhythm. Sve: Jätte bra! :) (Jag inte talar bra svenska). Fin: MIelestäni aika hyvä musiikki & laulu kombinaatio. Todella hyvin tehty.
Thank you(deeply) for keeping the 🔥 alive.

i found this song again :D its about bloody time.
this kind of music really do not have a language, just close your eyes and LISTEN! the music will take you places.
Absolutely awesome ❤
Grymt bra! Stor respekt.
this is so beautiful...I so love Sami joik...
Awesome Beautiful ❤ for me
Du gör jätte bra jojks❤️
Ancient music is healing for the soul. With no new age vibrations that are bad for the spirit and body.
Is this track on Spotify? When I type NikeSunnas Jojk in, a different sounding song is playing. More banjo-y. This version really appeals to me. If anybody knows how to find it in there, i'd appreciate the heads-up.
Awesome. I just love this.
Beautiful music!
Let them keep large reindeer herds! Let them keep their culture! Let them live! And fight climate change together with nature! 🦌🦌🦌

I love this. Your voice is so beautiful, as is the song.
Fantastisk!

Rakt in i själen med stor kraft!♥

Jiiiises kvinna..
I wish I could understand these lyrics but Im sure they are just as beautiful as the song. It makes me proud to think that this is the land where my mothers people are from.
