Max is a perfectionist and hates it when he feels like he's being held back. Only GP can handle his firey temper. Adrenaline has a lot to do with him losing it I think because any time you see Max off track he's super chill. GP's dead calm is a perfect balance to Max.

@@MahendraGaadhi we've all seen how Max and Jos behave when Max gets beaten, you haven't fooled anyone. It's the first time Max had apologised for any of his childish, entitled behavior. He'd have a face like thunder unless he was on pole. His streak will end and its going to be so satisfying to watch him and his vile, woman beating "dad" realise it was always just the car.

A real team can say anything to each other and move on afterwards. Lambiase is also a key factor in Max’s performance.
These guys run on pure adrenaline going at 300+ kmh inside rocketships. We can't possibly understand them and of course spirits get hot.

That realisation came in 2011 with the words: "maybe it's because I'm...." That was my tippingpoint. Regained some respect in the last two years, but threw it all away again about a week ago.
Lol I’ll never really make a negative comment about any radio no matter what. These guys are going 200+ MPH lol their adrenaline is pumping. Whatever comes out of their mouth comes out, it is what it is.

@@kaeden2502 I just didn't see Max being as angry as he used to be. So that "getting used to it" had to be a joke, I just asked if it is or not
I just like how they don’t try to hide their emotion. Like in the NHL if you let the players fight it out, they get their anger out and move on instead of letting it build until it hits a breaking point. Obviously the respect is there from both sides, and they don’t try to sugar-coat their emotions and promote open communication

I think it's more towards championship mentality because you have to see drivers opposite to Verstappen e.g. Leclerc who always listens to the tema and never has a problem when they do something wrong. If he gets a level of "anger" towards them, they'll try to "respect" him more. Because Ferrari just slack because they know Leclerc won't say anything.

Driven ones are not easy but damn good!
Maxstap is the most competitive athlete (I’ll call an F1 driver an athlete) I’ve seen in a while. But when Max stops bitching, Red Bull better worry. So relax.
GP does an amazing job, as always. I like the banter on their radio, and love hearing GP give it back to him nowadays.

You gotta love the absolute respect between these guys. Both working for the same goal, together, with different ideas on how to get there, but utilising their respective strengths to get to the top.

Honestly this. I’d swear like Samuel Jackson on crack just in regular traffic on a bike. Nevermind 200mph runs and tight qualy times etc with lap prep.
GP is the only person that can keep Max held accountable.
Nah man they are like best buds, and have a strong affinity and understanding of each other. Max talks straight without any sugar coating and GP handles it just fine. Together they make the best Driver - Engineer pair in F1 at the moment
99% of race engineers would cave into Max’s angry radio messages. GP is the only one that claps back and keeps a nice balance between driver-engineer

Haha I love how GP fought back. Knowing that Max was sitting in the pits and he had an opportunity to let it escalate slightly if needed. Quiestioning the energy use etc... but also be open to feedback. And together they came up with an amazing strat for Q3 and destroyed everyone on track.

He would have told them, the chamges were made and booooom. And this is why their dynamic is so good. There's not to many people who can navigate their way around and in with MV like GP does.
