My dad is a black hack driver and is one of the few that hates chatty customers. Quite a few of his mates are the same it does go the other way because so many cab drivers talk utter crap alot of customers expect it and try to start it anyway.....its bizarre

For a guy who lives a lot of his life at 300 kmph speeds, max is a pretty laid back guy. Chilled out, relaxed, down to earth. This is definitely a new era of drivers that have come in past decade or so.

Usually I don't have a whole lot good to say about the younger generations (I'm in my 40s so Gen X), but the half of the grid that is filled with the younger drivers have absolutely been the best thing for the sport...the closeness and support they give each other, the brotherhood...F1 had never been like that prior to this, it was cutthroat among the drivers and they were rarely friends. They are all such good guys, every one of them. Max and Charles have been so fun to watch, and after the race you can detect no cringey toxicity...they debrief each other and congratulate each other...such a change from last year.

He seems like such a genuinely sweet person to meet, and honestly if I met him I hope I didn't annoy him because I really wouldn't want to embarrass him or put him in that position, but yeah he's really great still trying to make it a positive time for him, I know a lot of other celebrities or racers wouldn't stand for it and would get snappy fast. Really shows his character, shows that there are still good people, and famous ones at that, he seems to want to make others happy or at least not upset them in any way even if he himself isn't comfortable with the situation. The world needs more people like him in it

I didn't like Verstappin before I saw this haha. He's a legit good dude. He wasn't rude or showed any anger or annoyance at all. He was still answering his questions and being nice the whole time. Most famous people who aren't half as good or famous in their profession as Verstappin is at his, wouldn't have been anywhere close to as nice as Verstappin was.

Honestly this is one of the few times I was glad it kept buffering, it was so embarrassing to watch I'm surprised he had so much patience for Steve, really shows his character he's a genuinely good guy and tries to be polite the whole time even when obviously annoyed early in. Poor guy, like others said he probably just wanted a quiet and quick ride but damn he handled this well. Poor boy thinking something was seriously wrong!!! That podcast alone was so heavily biased towards Lewis it was unreal! Like we get it, he's British and everything but come on, show some level of decency when making a podcast!

I saw him peel out (in a Jeep Cherokee) of the hotel in Austin after losing the podium. He was giving everyone the death stare. Poor guy, still is one of my favorite drivers.

Max is such a gentleman, absolutely loved it.

Such a good sport. Great instincts too getting out of the car, just in case. He was extremely patient with his "driver".

As a new f1 beginning fan this was very fun and interesting to watch cause I keep seeing ppl talk about max in a more serious and sometimes negative tone but he seems very humble and pleasant. Honestly I'm glad I watched this cause I was starting to think he's just a bitchy kind of person but he's not.

Max revealed what everyone actually is 😂😂. Loudly: "It's alright." To a friend: "Got an idiot as a driver" 🤣🤣🤣

In Drive to Survive Verstappen is painted as a bad guy but he actually seems pretty nice

Not really rated Max based just on his racing style & what you see on the telly (unconscious bias). But this is great to see him in a real life situation and showing what a nice guy he is, respect.

I really must say that max Verstappen is a down to earth person the way he behaved in this situation.. Other persons might have gotten really angry..Sure looks like Max Verstappen is a down to earth nice guy.

Max is so kind how he took it all fine. In the race and interviews he seems like he’d be rude but his actually really nice 😀

I was amazed at how nice max is even If he is annoyed he kept being nice and this video makes me like him that much more
