@xionXL My pleasure! Still trying to get over the impact that us Swedes have had on music! I'm more into 50's, 60's, rockabilly, blues and stuff, Ventures, etc., etc.... Keep at it and you'll get there! 👍🏻🍻

When they describe Max Martins winning concept I just thought that this dude is just making the music version of swedish/scandinavian design. Minimalistic, simple, pure forms, functionality.

Hit me baby one more time was written for backstreet boys. In broken english it's supposed to be about a man longning back to an abusive relationship. "Hit me babe, one more time"

Just one more hit and he ties Lennon, so as long as he stays healthy and well he will go to history as the no 1 hitmaker in and before his time

For his Britney Spears hit, from what I know Hit Me is Swedish slang for getting back to you so it was a bad translation of slang but still a bop!

i believe he actually meant to say "hit me up" but forgot the saying, happened with DNCE's song "cake by the ocean" too where one of the song writers (also swedish) wanted to say "s*x on the beach" xd

So weird to not say he's Swedish early in the video, just randomly that in Sweden you get free education. Maybe you missed that part or didn't think it was meant to say he's Swedish. There are a few more Swedes responsible for some hit songs, and then we got our own music being big. Sweden is the third biggest music exporter. We're queens and kings of pop.

12:40 yeah because the US is so sensitive and conservative and weird about the most non-harmful things, Sweden do not think that song is controversial at all, it's such an innocent little tune. In Sweden artists and actors etc are openly gay, write obviously gay lyrics, there are gay characters in tv-series and movies and there are no controversy or question if it's suitable for children or not. Like take Beatrice Eli's song 'Girls,' no one minded it being played on radio or performed on TV or children listening to it.
