Max Greenfield Wasn't Qualified, But He Got The Job
Ойын-сауық
In a situation that sounds oddly familiar to the current state of national affairs, the actor explains how he landed a plum new gig with absolutely no experience.

He should win an Emmy for his analogy. No one really got it until maybe mid-end. When you re-watch it, it's brilliant. You sir are a great comedian/actor. You should be proud. Hats down.
should win an Emmy for this segment alone

Except the part where he implies that we would get "better refs" if we were nicer to them. Nope. All "refs" should live in fear of letting the people down.
@nebulousisgod
7 жыл бұрын
Hugh Mungus Once they become refs, sure. But if the job entails nothing but harsh criticism from one side of the field then what we'll end up with is nothing but a bunch of scum refs who dont give a damn about anything but exploiting the children for their own gain. Like whats happening now.
This was clever. It took me a moment to catch on. Well played, Gentleman. Well played.
Well done Schmidty. Well done
I love what he says about, "if we were nicer to our referees, then more qualified people would want to become them.." I'm a political science a major and that was my point throughout college to any discussion.
"And before you knew it, I had all of these supporters." OH SHIT I GET IT

3:05. "I thought I'd tell people, being a referee is not for me, the test was rigged..." The point at which the audience catches on as a whole. Brilliant sketch.
Wow, I did not see this coming. This went from the least interesting story any guest could tell to one of the best videos on this channel so fast!
That is a TIGHT bit. Well done.

@@camara1194 Idk, it's almost like the president would play a really big role in controlling the fate of one of the biggest countries in the world and the people in it, controlling their bodies, whether they have to leave their homes, families and careers behind and leave. Hmm, just a thought.

Max Greenfield can tell a story man! Captivated!
I don't care if it was scripted or not, but this was really well executed. Every sentence was very well crafted and I loved Max's expressions and diction :D
I didn't catch on to this until he said it was rigged 😂
this was definitely one of the best stealth comedy routines ever hahaha
Schimdt you genius s.o.b!
okay straight up, this is brilliant! He can't outright say he's scared af about Trump, so he finds an hilarious and unique way to say it.
It took me a second to figure out what was happening. I was really following along like this man was actually becoming a referee. This was so genius, I can't believe how great this was! Max Greenfield is a gem!
it took me so long to catch on, I had to watch the entire video again XD I love this guy
Awesome and Clever
At first I thought, this is like something Robin Williams or Bill Murray would do on a talk show. Very cool. Then it went deeper...Respect.
this was beautiful, no wonder Prince used to watch _new girl_ it has a good cast.
This was perfect.
went from being the most random thing to a deep thing
Max Greenfield you legendary beast!
This was awesome.
Genius!!!!
I was getting bored and was about to go to a different video, but about the time he started talking about being shocked that he passed, I realized where they were going with the bit. XD

Schimidt.... I’m disappointed where is your suit???😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I knew by the title it was satire but then for some reason i forgot all about that until he said "queens". Well done segment by both. Very funny and brilliant!
Is this the latest M. Night Shyamalan plot twist ?? GENIUS.
If felt like Stephen didn't know what he was doing when he started, and then he caught on and played along. Either that, or he knew the whole time and is a good actor.
The most brilliant thing I have seen on this show. Just Amazing!!!

That's how you explain politics to a child or a Trump supporter.
Max Greenfield is actually a genius.
