These two videos from Maven hav given me some real learning interest into automation and technical stuffs from our channel videos.. also given me absolutely stronger confidence on learning the concepts .. with courage I can say.. Yes. Maven dependencies are just for reference libraries. For Java you have to install the jdk

Once u learn maven, do everything on maven. Maven is the one we use in actual projects

You were talking about the internet connection needed for maven to download the dependencies.... does this mean that after downloading all the dependencies needed for the project at the initial time, maven can work without connecting to the net... Or it's continually dependent on the internet for running the project?

For downloading the dependencies it needs internet. Buy in today's world nobody is turning off the internet. Especially when working on the computer for programming, internet is inevitable. For downloading alone it's enough.

Soap UI are almost obsolete. Rest APIs are must for every testers. Soap is a very huge concept. So is the rest. Will create videos on REST in depth. And will explain how it's differing from soap. So that you can have a knowledge on both. Post GitHub, that will be published.
