I am from Wales and I can tell you that Matthew is considered a legend right across the country. In fact most people have a photo of Matthew in their house and in some cases people will have shrines. The titles of the two videos posted today are mixed up. This one is the Gourley and Sona insurrection. The other video with that title eventually gets to some Welsh curse words.

Just started watching The Americans and he has been so bloody brilliant in every way and in every scene whether the circumstances were violent or tender and vulnerable.

I am mostly Welsh myself and I am delighted that others are in love with the culture ❤️ Wales is a magical place.

Some of my ancestors were from Waterford - I lived in London and brought my parents over ten years ago and went with them to Waterford. It was the trip of a lifetime for them - such a special place. They aren't able to travel now, and so I am so glad we did it when we did.

I’ve been saying that I grew up in the late 80s, and most of my pictures featured moustached, shirtless Uncles in short shorts, and now my Nephew born in 2020 has people in masks. Both shocking. Lol.

Matthew was great in his role as Perry Mason - one of the best series on TV. And, of course, HBO cancelled it after two season.

American oral folktales aren't intentionally funny though. We don't have that jokey storytelling tradition. We have comedy and we have great satirical literature, but the whole "Irish fact" thing isn't an American tradition, it's pulled in from other traditions. There's a difference between storytelling traditions and literature.
