It's been impossible for me to pick my favourite Matt Maeson song. Every single one I'm like oh this one is the best, then the next song starts and I'm like oh ok this one. That being said, this one stands out for me, I didn't think I could have a favourite Matt Maeson song, but here we are. Tread on me.

That's so funny bc I feel the EXACT same way... I legit share that exact same scenario. It's basically impossible to choose just one favorite; it's gotta be at least 5. That's a sign of a great artist tho... when there's so many songs that u love and adore that it becomes extremely difficult to choose your top 3 or 4, let alone your favorite. Now, personally this song would not make it on my top 5. I really like it, but it doesn't reach me quite like his other songs. Plus at the risk of being honest, I really dislike that he uses the Lord's name in vain in this song, "I could really give a good _______", bc I have an immediate negative physical reaction when i hear God's name used as a curse in any way. It makes me cringe (heeeyy!!! S/O to the Matt Maeson song that introduced me to the INCREDIBLE artist that is he). Anyway, it really does make me very uncomfortable, so I'm glad that as far as i know, this is the only song he takes God's name in vain. Oh and please don't bite my head off, MM fans!!!! I know that's your boy!! I get it, that's my boy too!!! I just personally hate hearing those kind of words. But to reiterate, I am NOT saying anything bad about him, or his music. Matter of fact, he's one of my all-time favorite artists, and I've introduced a few people to his music bc i love and respect him and his art so much. Ok, peace and love and blessings all 🥰😜🤐😝🤩
