An hour /sounds/ like a long time to someone in the UK, I know, but it's really not. I live /in/ Brisbane, about 45 mins from the city centre, for context--distance not traffic. The Gold Coast is where people like Johnny Depp et al stayed while filming POTCwhateveritwas...5?

Yeah, it's not even in the "jungle" part of the Tweed Valley. I have friends who work catering on set and they told me how the set has moulded fake buttress roots put onto the trees there and added fake vines to make it look "jungley".
