Cant totally figure out the chorus but i think ive got the verse and bridge: Colours collide, Fever i fight, With my own cornerstone, Found out, i fled Just lost, not dead Sickness around and the cynical resound, Tainted by his own name, Closed eyes, im dreading To death, im heading Hold in, and if they say, to you, To get out, the way, I saw the sickness but i wont, Let them get a aa way so Straight down --- They were thrown in your favour, Well im locked up in a cage now, You seek protection and theyll put you in there, Stay down, Or youll meet your maker, All trials and no taper, Well you call yourself a holy man, You wont be rejoicing youll be cursing your hand, So i stay, Fall down, Im not getting up, Theyre gonna get you. Dont ask me what the hell it all means. My interpretation is I think it is a slant against the talent show he went through.. Aussie idol. He had heaps of ill feeling towards it and i think he frames this through death, or death of his own musical voice. Also the reference to a cage, being lost and trials adds to this image. Thank holy heaven they didnt get him, hes a very talented guy and i respect him enormously.

Think it's "stand down" instead of "straight down". Then "against that door"
