+Ryuobbi He could of went two ways in his music career that would of sent him down two very different paths. He was discovered on Australian Idol when he was 16. Came runners up. He was offered a record deal with a main stream label. He could of played it safe and signed, attempted to shoot for the stars of the celebrity. But he declined, knowing he would not have creative control and direction of where his music was going, and decided to release an EP on an independent label. He made this decision when he was like 17. Obviously has a great head on his shoulders and a true passion to create quality music. Thank god he made that decision, otherwise he would be currently being forced to pump out candy store pop songs with zero substance to make the record labels make as much money as possible.

My father and mother split up when I was young, I was very close to my older brother and didn’t want to leave him. The last thing I remember my brother by is this song. My brother passed away 2 years ago today. Rest In Peace brother 💜

Seeing this song performed live was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. He's even better live, his voice made every hair on my body stand up, it was a pretty unique and beautiful performance. He even came out on stage in bare feet, and was so lovely and down to earth :)

This song, what can anyone say about it? It's absolutely a work of art! Cannot put into to clear enough words how much i absolutely love this song and your music! This song is on a big journey with me at the moment helping me along the way. So i guess i just want to say thank you so much for your talent! :)

Love the band's chemistry. They actually look like they are all into it, into each other and truly loving the experience of making music together. Haven't seen that kind of band chemistry since Fleetwood Mac on stage. Let's hope they don't have the drama behind the scenes that they did, lol. Truly inspirational though watching them all enjoy the moment of creating this music. So glad they share with all of us. We are all truly blessed by the reminder of this tune. Love each other.

My ex and I fell in love because of this song. It was playing at a college house party and stopped me in my tracks. I started asking everyone at the party what song it was. And sure enough the guy I'd fall in love with had put it on the aux. We started talking and went on a late night walk at 2am around our college town. For 3 years this was our song. It was painful to listen to it for so many years- but revisiting again and it's like hearing it for the first time again. It's magic.

I walked down the aisle to this song... Still gives me shivers ❤️

I like to think that he's saving someone from suicide when he says "turn around, put it down and see, that this is really the place to be, I met you and all you need" and saying that he's there for them, even they could've saved him just from meeting. I also like that when he says "but we're both moving steady" it means that they're both well and emotionally and mentally stable. That's the reason I listen to it.

There's gotta be a God if people like Matt Corby exist.....evolution cant handle this gorgeousness!!!!!

Just watched that episode. Of all the awesome tracks on the blacklist, this one made me immediately pause and search for it.

They say people are most are most beautiful when they talk about something they are passionate about, in this case it's him singing! Seriously the most talented person i've ever heard! loooove you matt corby!
