I love how Amanda's reaction before being thrown is just a mixture of bewilderment and confusion moreso than fear. Even her '.....whoa......." is just like 'I DUNNO WHAT'S HAPPENING. HUH??' and then she just goes FLYING through the air. XD

@@reyisnotamarysue1195 they changed it to be more amarican. While the original was written by an british author and was also set in britain during the 1960s. The film adaptation of the musical is set in England during the 60s, which makes it closer to the original novel.

I'm British and I thought the musical was dreadful. The 1996 version forever. Pam Ferris represented the British-ness in this the ultimate version.

My aunty, the wife of my dad's brother used to get swung around the room by her hair like that by her own mother when she was a child. I'm 33 years old, and my aunty is about 57 now.
