Supplies:
I uses the Thorny Rose peg stamp set: pegstamps.com/thorny-rose-peg...
Here are some other rose peg stamps & sets: pegstamps.com/cart.php?m=sear...
Dye ink (Memento) pegstamps.com/memento/
Ink blending brush: pegstamps.com/blending-brush....
Pattern paper (Joann Fabrics Park Lane patterned cardstock)
Paper fasteners (aka brads) I got them from Staples and painted them with nail polish:)
Scalloped circle (2") and regular circle punch (1.5") or dies or hand cut
Scollop edge scissors
Paper trimmer
Scoring board (Scor pal) amzn.to/2pPNiYa
double stick tape and foam tape: pegstamps.com/cart.php?m=sear...
Thin white paper or thin scrapbook paper with a white back you want to use up.
Heavy duty punch (crop a dial) amzn.to/2pOeINP or an awl you can poke through all of the paper layers.
Directions/measurements
You can get 4 booklet covers from a 8.5"x11" cardstock. Score the cardstock first. Score at 3.5", 4" and 7.5" (you car scoring parallel to the long side of the paper so that last score is 1" from the edge.)
Cut the scored piece of cardstock in quarters so you have 4 pieces of 2.75" x 8.5" pieces of paper. When you fold on the score marks you will have the matchbook cover.
Your inside pages will be 2.5"x3" and I use 3 pieces of 12"x12" thin scrapbook paper to get the pages for 2 books. You can make them as thick as you like, you just might need to punch your booklet papers in batches.

Genius idea taping the letter stamps together.....Common sense idea, but one I'd never have thought of on my own....
What a great project, Lindsay. (I always giggle when you bust out those foam squares, may they never run out!)
I can't believe those foam squares are still sticky!! Mine have lost their stick...probably from being in a hot car in transit. May the FOAM be with you!
Another great idea for using my NEW Pegstamps. I love these things and am always trying out new ways to use them. I am thinking that I could adapt these to hold a gift card at Christmas, and hang them on the tree. I might have to use my limited MATH skills to figure out new measurements. Oh No!! Great video, Lindsay! Thanks!!
V cute indeed, Lindsay. Great idea with the washi tape too, btw, I have some of those little wooden alphabet collections & the obvious step of taping them together had never occurred to me. I've been lining them up painstakingly for years - I'm such a wally! LOL

I've been making matchbook notepads for a while and using them in junk journals, but it didn't occur to me to get all faaaancy and dress them up like you have. :) Foam squares. I keep hoping to find a source like you got. I did just buy some foam tape - super cheap from Amazon, two 50 foot rolls for $10!

Wow, what a deal Cindy! Good for you!
Yes I will try this out. It will be a great purse pad of paper. Or just little pads to write or draw on. Great idea. Thanks.
By the way, I love your instructions and tips & tricks to doing stuff. Wish I could get some of those peg stamps, they are so darn cute. Appreciated tip on taping small alphabet stamps together with washi tape, I never thought of that but makes perfect sense. Thanks a bunch. Becky B
Cute little thank you card for a teacher.
I already am a big fat Lindsay fan but OMG these are soooo cute! Maybe because I'm from the matchbook era, I don't know. At one time everyone had matches. No one had lighters. You never know when you need to burn something or melt something. We also had candles and incense to light I guess. Lol
You always make me smile. I never did well with math, just enough to get me through. Thank you. Becky B
...I'm new to your channel, but am now hooked!! Am very intrigued about the foam squares?!! Lol, I love any type of crafting, power tools, clay, and the like, will try anything! These little notelets are just so cute for Xmas stockings..and it gives me a chance to use all the papers I've collected, and never used because they are too damned pretty! Love your upbeat outlook! ♥

I would tell you about the foam squares... but I have no idea! Curious though🤔
Great idea about taping the small stamps together. I've been stamping for quite a while and NEVER thought of that tip. You are so clever! I really appreciate your work.
Cute idea, looks pretty easy to do. I love it!, Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I will definitely be making these! Thank you for all the tips to simplify the steps. You are the best!
Ha ha. The never ending foam squares! Love it.
These are awesome!!!! Definitely making some of these. Thanks so much for designing this project!
I just love your great ideas, never thought of taping those alpha stamps together! I could never line them up together so they end up in the back of my drawer. I love the new ideas for using those peg stamps as they were also packed away. These matchbooks will be a great, fantastic gift idea. Thank you for sharing! Love to see more peg stamping ideas!!!!!
I loved this, cute and easy but best if all " Frugal " I work with a cutter like yours and I bet most teachers do! Ha! Please may your foam squares multiply to an infinite amount!!!
Thanks for the idea it is so great to see you use old supplies. It is overwhelming see designers use all new stuff and so many supplies. 30 items to make one card how can a person afford such supplies?
I can't wait to make some of these!!! Thanks for the great idea!
Love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing ANOTHER great project.
These are a cute gift idea. And, I have the same cutter as you do. I've had for years, and I love it!

Oops, meant to add that these would make cute stocking stuffers for kids & adults!
these are so lovely! I love red and aqua, it's a fun combo :)
Use a serrated rotary cutter to perforate the paper inserts- then the pages can be torn out when used! Nice project!
I will definitely try this
I'm going to make these! Thanks
Great idea and cute as a button.
These are awesome
I love this idea! Great for stocking stuffers! Thanks! :-)
Great idea and they turned out really nice...there is nothing wrong using tools that we had for a very long time cause I have many and they work perfectly....tfs

This is the perfect size for a calendar for my daughter to track her cycle

So cute Lindsay. TTFS
Super cute idea! So, I'm fairly new to the channel, and I think I need to know the story behind the foam squares! Someone fill me in!!
Adorable
Wow que lindos
I am always *AMAZED* when you continue to pull out those same foam squares!! lol. Was it an assembly game, puzzle or what that your kids had that contained the 10,989,999 foam squares?
Christmas gifts, sorted!
Oh. I score with a dotting tool. 🇨🇦
Great tutorial Lindsay! Love all the letter stamps! I have a question, how do you clean stamps...I recently picked up a bag of stamps at a thrift store and noticed some look like they might have dried ink on them. I’m new to stamping and don’t know all the ins and outs😊 Also what’s the name of the huge tablet of paper you showed us? I loved the patterns! Thanks for the tutorials😊
Dont you just love the crop o dile!

Go ahead and make them, sell them and buy more supplies!
Hi Lindsay, I also have a big, ancient paper cutter like yours. Could you tell me, or address in a video, how to sharpen it? Thanks for sharing this project, I will definitely be making these!
Do you buy your stamps online? Our town hardly ever has stamps. Though I did find one of those layered stamps at the dollar store but it doesn't work like yours do.
