How To Make A Microwavable Heat Pack

Фильм және анимация

It's cold and dark and horrible and a microwavable heat pack can be quite nice and snuggly. They're also very convenient for achey muscles and, the reason I use them the most, period pains.
If you want more of an over view of how I made it, then check out my video.

OMG!!! I do ballet but thanks to covid I had a 3 month 2 1/2 month break. I went from no dancing or stretching to 5 hours in 4 days! I was so sore it hurt to walk. I've made 3 of these to put around my legs and they do wonders! 10/10 love it and thank you so much! 💖💖💖

Very nice! Mine turned out well and made a nice gift for an older friend. I used a funnel to fill in the rice, poking it occasionally with a chop stick so it would flow better. Went really fast.

Hi, I used cotton. I would stay away from synthetic fabric as it might melt.

Duck cloth is best. It's a heavy 100 % cotton fabric. I use it for the outside. For the interior I use a heavy muslim. If you use an inside and an outside fabric, you can remove the outside fabric and wash it. I close the outside fabric with ribbon. Use flax seed, not rice. Flax seed is more expensive than rise or beans, holds heat better.

@@cam-yt1wy I must've missed that part, but an easy solution when you have no actual funnel is to cut a plastic bottle that has a small opening [like a soft drink bottle] in half. Using paper rolled up to be one smaller hole on one side and a bigger one up top is another option, as well as a zip lock bag, or a piping bag, or really just any bag with a flat side can be turned into a funnel.
