Nice video. Been in BMX since the late 70’s and rode the freestyle wave of the 80’s. Still freestylin’ at 55yo today. Head First broke the mold on Vert riding when it came out. In my opinion, nobody documented the sport on video as good as Eddie Roman and Mark Eaton. They both made videos by riders for riders. Looking back at it 30-40 years later, they basically (and possibly unknowingly at the time) did what Stacy Peralta did with the Bones Brigade videos. At the time, nobody realized it or probably saw it coming, but these homemade videos were the future of BMX media.

I agree, Eddie Roman and Mark Eaton are two of the best to ever do it and they had a huge influence on bmx. I think a lot of people actually already realized this when their videos came out. When you read the reviews of their videos in old bmx magazines then you can see that at least those who wrote the reviews knew that these videos were special and milestones.

Please tell us you're NOT going to do any 'projects' with it, or repaint it or whatever, this should be kept as is, forever! That's a piece of BMX history! Cool, bro! 🤙

I dread to think how many 1 piece cranks the pros went through in those days.

It's like babe Ruth's favorite bat but 10 times better , I have a 92 shredder and got matts signature when I purchased a set of reissue patriots for my 2019 chrome master.

is this bearing on bottom bracket is sealed? or just ball bearing with crowns on it?
