Woah, I wish there was more of this. Such nicely filmed Masters performances are few and far between.

This was really a magic moment in rock history ... that day we captured two great moments / gigs in two different cities ! ... just before the Masters of Reality gig in Frankfurt we filmed some songs from The Tea Party in Mainz during soundcheck (we asked them to play a little soundcheck gig for us ´cause sadly we hadn´t time to film their concert)... ... so watch also our The Tea Party soundcheck live song on this channel ! ... also great stuff !!!

To answer the questions: We only recorded and broadcasted three songs ´cause the band wanted not more to be recorded on that tour... someday we will upload also some stuff from two older tours of Masters of Reality we recorded and hopefully someday we will record a new concert in then up to date Full HD quality as we do with b-light.tv ( here: bLightTV ) nowadays

He actually plays it at the QOTSA Glastonbury 2002 show. I actually think it was his main guitar for Queens songs in E standard turning the Dave Grohl tour; after the Gibson Maurauder but before the Epiphone Dot.

@oldUndergroundLiveTV I think they didn't want more recorded from this as this seems to be one of those shows they principally used for their live album 'Flak 'n' Flight'. This version of Why the Fly? is the exact one that appears on it.

Great upload. I remember seeing a streaming video of them playing Blue Garden at ( I think ) this show. It was 16 years ago and i still remember it kicking my arse! Do you have this/ I'd love to see it. Please guys?

Queens of the Stone Age in their prime between 1997 and 2003 were the greatest rock n roll band of the last 25 years - no competition. Which is both to their credit and a demonstration of the sad state of rock n roll 20 years after the release of Songs for the Deaf. Nothing has come along and topped those first 3 albums.
