Agreed. The keyboard adds so much to the atmosphere. It's there without the keys, but so much stronger with them. Paul Powell's bass play is amazing as well. I shouldn't get started. Everything is amazing about it. This is one of my favourite songs ever and will always be.

Was fortunate to see them with the lineup that recorded the album - Goog, Vinnie Ludovico & Tim Harrington(sp?) around 1990-91 in LA, pretty sure it was the Hollywood Palladium. The Candy Song was in heavy rotation on KNAC, I had the cassette, oh man, memories. Anyway, Masters completely tore it up, they opened up with Blue Garden, Goss had a huge cowboy hat on all night, they jammed/extended just about every song, my friends, who weren't really fans going in, were completely blown away, as was I. I'm pretty sure not too long after I saw them they were touring with Kings X when it all fell apart for them & that version of the band broke up.

Add keyboards to bring the mixture together and nail your arse drums for a bit of kick; bake on 180 for 30 minutes. Fucking perfect. 18 years on.
