MASTERCLASS!!! Ilia Topuria's PERFECT Performance...(Josh Emmett vs Ilia Topuria)
Ilia Topuria vs Josh Emmett was a dominant performance where Topuria showed his boxing skill to be levels above Emmett. How did he put on such an amazing performance? What made his boxing so great?

Completely different than how he fought before
Emmett paid for being confident in his wins through power. He used to be movement and counters, and although he's near the end of his career, we may see him go back to that.
Ilias boxing is so crisp in terms of offense. I'm not expecting a roster full of lomachenkos and gervontas, but as far as MMA goes, this is it. Just great punching mechanics. The way he switches between the right and left hook to the body and head is fundamentals taking to the highest level, just like when the threw and connected that short left hook after the overhand, when he dropped emmet. Beautiful way to sneak that shot on the inside. It's interesting how good a lot of these guys at FW are at throwing hands. Volk, Max, Ilia, Arnold, just beautiful stuff.

If he had gotten it and not lost the first 40 seconds of the round, a 10-7 would have made more sense. It’s not, ilia honestly should get the next title shot. Or at least fight max to get there. Kattar would be a good fight be he’d be fighting down in the ramking

I think Allen vs Topuria would be better.

That fight doesnt make sense, Ilia is one fight away from the title, or he could even go straight for it, why would he fight Kattar when he is on a losing streak
What a fight is was, Ilia beating Josh at his own game, and Maycee pulled Leon Edwards on Amanda. Crazy.
Paddy is keeping quiet and got chicken legs... "Don´t be scared homie"
Doesn't stand a chance against Volkanovski Doesn't even have a chance against Max.

stop the blasphemy, max is overrated he only got good striking shouldn't even be a featherweight since volks deep fry him 3x, ilia will give volks lot of problems u acting like volks is this invincible titanium robot and the last time i checked volks got tko'd before

@@draco2xx Does he? Volk beat Holloway the same way Topuria beat Emmet, there are levels
easily won every single round? the first round was close, but still Ilia finally showed he belong among top 5 fw, remember i got shitted on back in March last year for saying future champ Ilia should not concern himself with a nobody in Paddy
I thought the same think when I heard Emmits corner telling him to take advantage of his lazy jab lol I thought “that’s playing right into Illia’s plan”
Perfect example of "There are levels to this game." I assume.
This might be a hot take but I always kind of saw emmet as the Yoel Romero of featherweight. Dude does not have a ton of technique and just has a ton of power with some good grappling that he does not use. If this is a bad comp just roast me
@MrBeetsGaming

Idk about the Yoel comparison but I agree he isn't that great, the guys coming up now like Topuria are too well rounded for old-school guys that haven't evolved.

Romero is a better boxer than Emmett
Topuria seems a solid contender, but in order to show that he was ready for an immediate title fight, he needed a finish. If he got a finish, he would have gotten the title fight to challenge the winner of Yair and Volk. I think he needs one more fight(against Holloway preferably), and if he beats him, then give him the title fight. Btw, Volk smokes Topuria, and Yair does the same.

Yair gets taken down and dominated. I agree with the Volk assessment

bruh wtf are u talking about, the fact that he dominated emmett every round says alot and is better than a finish, ilia deserves title shot in spain since he's the only guy who can sell tickets in spain plus it will be good promotion for ufc organization as a whole

That was crazy fight
Became a fan in the leadup to the Ryan Hall fight, glad to see him climbing.
I have a really good idea for a video you should do. Make a video about all or a majority of the major ufc referees and which ones are good for their scores and which ones are bad. And the history of their score cards
That was some very very good mma boxing. So freaking good
Masterclass couldn't put him away
Paddy the Baddy watching the fight: "Damn. Why did I have to call that dude out. I don't want that smoke" 😂😂😂😂

Title shot. Fresh, exciting, young blood
I gotta say, I was also impressed with Topuria’s chin. That youth man, topuria ate some clean shots from Emmett and kept going. GREAT FIGHT
Great use of philly shell defence. That's old school
Ya LITLL wrought ya litll wheezel
I knew Ilia was commited when i saw him sparring in front of a crowd on thanksgiving DAY. I kept my eye on him after he beat Ryan Hall and was a believer after almost getting finished and knocking out Jai.
Props to josh for recovering from those kds. Both the co main and main were killer brutal fights. I think josh gave the best fight he could have. Throwing all power shots was the only way he was going to stop Ilia. He knew he couldnt outpoint Topuria. The game plan was to have faith in power shots landing for 5 rounds, figuring eventually over 25 min, hed catch him. Josh just couldnt touch him though. Like weasle said, Topuria saw everything a mile away. Good video man keep it up!
Nothing more exciting than watching an up and coming prospect beat the shit out of the top of the division
Ilia's so smooth in there and a real pleasure to watch. I think He could be a world champ in boxing as he is and an MMA champ when he starts mixing in grappling and kicks in with his hands. His nickname really fits him. 🐂 Him vs Arnold would be a great headliner for a fight night, or even Max if he wants to lose his 0
