Amazing as always. And man. I learned a massive parsing tip. U know how bad my internet is and i thought i was crazy for feeling like taking the shard synergy on parsing makes me lag spike for a sec or two until u said it here lol. Ill even notice i usually miss a rele LA as im taking the synergy and ive naturally learned to take it during instant cast abilities. Never rlly thought the lag was tied to taking it during channeled abilities lol. Thx.

My question; for someone who is fairly new to the game and just getting into endgame I don't own any trial sets as of right now so I'm currently running Pillar of Nirn with Orders Wrath. Would it be more beneficial for me to swap out Nirn for Aegis? Still learning how to pair sets together. Thank you!

Orders wrath will be really good for content, but on the dummy I would guess you’d get more out of Pillar + Aegis Caller!

That’s weave delays, it just you if you performed a weave quickly and well or not!

Currently I'm running ansuul's on body, order's on front bar, 1pc slimecraw, velothi and maelstrom TH I'm hitting easily 90k, and while most meta stuff can do better, I'm feeling comfortable with this build since it matches my playstyle, and can do a lot of content with it, also hits like a truck on solo

for the two hand bar i just used the siphon skill that gives you hp and stem on an attack, and then the shadow thing for extra critrate passively,,, because i dont have maxed gear or build stuff yet.

Absolute quality guide. Well done 👍🏻 I’m trying to grow as an average solo player & don’t quite understand everything in this much detail yet. What would be the best gear & weapon set up for casual pve & dungeons. My goal is to complete all zone stories & eventually push to vet dungeons. Trial gear is out the question for me lol. Ever tried replacing Briarheart with Azureblight, in the trash setup? Would it be better or worse? Do you know what would be the loss in dps, if replacing coral with Whorl of the depths/ansuul?

It depends how fast your trash is dying. Usually, azure is not worth in trash but if you’re in a newer group with slower damage it could be worth! Coral vs Whorl is like 2-5% dps at most!

Are relequen n pillar setup able to hit the 130k or should o change to the coral setup if id like to deal that much ?

130 is really really really hard to hit on this class, if everything isn't fully optimized and perfect you likely will miss that target sadly

Rele/Pillar is good, but I think coral will get a bit more!

Have you checked out the new dps pric set from bedlam? It seems like it might be a new meta set

I tested them on pts and they were within about 5k of meta proc sets in overall dps output but still just a tad weak. Unless they’ve been changed!

With Whorl of depths being light would it be better to have it on weapons and jewelry?

Daggers front bar is the main thing. Greatsword backbar is my go to for this class but this one matters a bit less

Is the new "Traveling Knife" with Warrior's Opportunity plus Major Savagery and Prophecy better then Rapid strikes this Patch? Would allow you to run Heroism pots without losing Crit Chance. (Assuming you have a DK providing brutality and Sorcery in your group)

@@eigh1puppies It seemed to pull ahead on my tests. The 8% increase to all martial damage through Warrior's Opportunity is probably carrying the Skill. But then again. I'm not that consistent when it comes to parses. So might just have been easier to weave for me. Sustain is a lot tougher tho.

if i dont have a trials set but have aegis can i run like deadly or pillar of nirn umtil i get a full trails set??

If your dot or aoes are not doing very much DPS, it’s likely because they are not being reapplied right as they expire. The goal is to keep those timer based skills up 100% of the time

The tldr is that abilities aren’t mag or Stam specific anymore, so we just run the strongest skills assuming we can sustain them!

It's very tough. I messed around with certain prebuffs that barely gave me enough sustain with the Static Roto, I'd recommend giving that section a watch!

Eventually but magblade is in the worst shape I’ve ever seen, likely hoping for improvements next patch first

they also need to give orc the 1000 stamina back you have highelf with 2k mag and 250 wepond spell damage. yest no Equivalent for stam except for the hybrid race.

So relequen dont work with ageis caller cuz thats what i have on my orc blade

Rapid Strikes + Maelstrom Greatsword is just stronger. vMA Greatsword buffs all 4 ticks of Rapid Strikes which is what makes the spam so strong.

You’d probably run snipe front bar + masters bow and endless hail/poison injection over stampede/carve bavkbar

id take the dps loss and not use rappid strike awful animation its like someone throwing a punch/throw with their none dominate hand with both hands being that way lol

only had one toon and it's a magblade, now it's dead 😭 rip!

DPS numbers for a trial dummy might look good, but for mundane dungeon clears or just on a regular dummy numbers are kind of mediocre, got better results with an oakensoul build

You shouldn’t get “better” results with Oakensoul in terms of damage ceiling. You will definitely get good results much easier though!

Weaving is what kills this game for me. This thing, "canceling animations" is a thing from fight games, not a MMO. I cannot play groups, I played Wow and FF14 for eons, done hundreds of raids way harder than any eso trials on both of them, but i refuse to play this trick minigame for beiing able to do dps on groups. I play ESO very very casual since its Beta, i have low CP, but i can do my quests, can solo Worldboss maps, can do normal dungeons sometimes, and thats it. Guess I will never touch endgame on ESO because of weaving.
