Hello my beautiful Indonesian people. 🙏🏼 get another pot of coffee brewing because there is another amazing home visit coming in a couple of weeks. I just finished filming Maria’s amazing orchid collection as well. Wait to you see what in bloom in her yard.

Tell her not to be upset if she finds me in her garden tomorrow morning. I'm sure I can drive from PA to Florida in less than 8 hrs. I prefer my coffee black with no sugar. See you in the morning. (BTW - she does have some really outstanding orchids. I love the tour. Thank you both).

Trust me it’s hard to focus when your filming and trying to narrate for each orchid you’re trying to capture. Her garden is just spectacular.

Yet again I’m inspired by Mercedes’ garden. She reminds me of my Tia! I feel like I know her. It’s b/c of her first video that I have gone crazy with the bag babies!! 🎉

She’s instilling in all of us bag babies. I’m still blown away with her collection. It just doesn’t get old to look at. Those blooms are unreal.

Such a beautiful place and a beautiful soul. Mercedes is adorable. The plants are incredible. I just love how she used economical baskets from the dollar tree, etc. Proof that your orchid does not need an expensive vessel to be incredible. Nelson, can you explain your new potting medium? I think my plants are needing something different. Thank you and Mercedes for this wonderful visit in Orchid Heaven.

Glad you enjoyed. I’m actually using what Mercedes uses. Lava rock and charcoal is all I’ve been using for my Cattleyas and Dendrobiums.

lol! I think she would get tired of me every month. Yea the Medinillas are pretty much like an orchid. But they like shaded areas with some bright light.

I see that some orchids don’t need any medium, they just grow their roots around trees, that amazes me.

Health is declining, some orchids are declining, struggling to get my channel to be seen by more people 😔so, I really appreciate seeing sunshine, warm weather, orchids that grow in great conditions. The peace and tranquility is only beaten by the thrill of seeing such beauty! Would love to be able to live in such a climate again and not have to worry so much 😤I am staying tuned, Nel!! 🫡❤

I have the dendrobium at 13:44. It's name starts with "K" (can't recall the name). The blooms last for 6 to 8 weeks. No fragrance. I make my own orchid baskets with "Guava Tree" branches (5 inches square). They're supposed to last for years!! Lovely video - very tropical.

I remember the first time I saw your videos I was intimidated by the amount of time they have it seems too long. I watched you for the first time this was with the orchid doc oh I am also form Jamaica. Any way I watched your video on that tour and then I realised you shows are good and very informative. The ghost orchid that we see out being sold is usually the Thai Ghost Orchid.
