nice haul. I can’t imagine anyone in Florida running out of space when you can leave them outside mounted on trees year round. I love toshi aoki pizzaz and Encyclia cordigera is amazing thanks for sharing

Happy to share my new plants - I just need to control new purchases - I do not want my orchid growing space to get too crowded - I have seen this and want to be able to keep track of all of my orchids, know where they are, and not lose touch so much that I am surprised by an open bloom that I did not see coming....

You are not alone! I had to cut myself off from buying!!! It was that or start getting rid of furniture to make space 😂. That 2 tone den looks so elegant! Any fragrance? I love Yellow Bird! It’s been on my list and I’ve seen it in nurseries, but I end up buying others.

I did not check the fragrance of that den - will have to wait for mine to bloom. For the Yellow Bird, it was not on my list but the plant looked so vigorous, was in a small pot and was at a great price so.......

Nice haul, the orchids appear very healthy.

That is why I like gong to RFO - their plants always do so well for me. This is not the case with many of the other vendors that I deal with... Thanks for your comment.

You got so many cool looking plants. That second dendrobium with the velvet petals looks so amazing. I wish I could go them indoors but they seem to get huge. I have to settle with streptocarpus with velvet petals since i can only grow indoors haha.

Wow - I just love Streps - used to grow them in my basement under lights - so fast to bloom from seed - great plants!!

I will gladly pay for shipping if you have too many devisions or too many orchids !!!!!!👍🏻 I learn a lot from you! Thank you for the videos! And by the way, there is no such thing as “losing control with orchids”😅

Good choices! picking up the same plant twice means your personal taste for flowers is at least consistent! I've said it before, I don't think I would pick up any hybrid outside of the cattleya alliance, much less a hybrid Den, but that one sure looks special! Watching what other people pick is always interesting and mind opening! Looking forward to seeing some of your violacea's upcoming blooms! Thanks!

same, thats happened to me. even you promise yourself that you will not buy again, but when you see orchids you forget what you promise. i am more on cattleya.

Love all of you purchases. How do you water when you are not in Florida? Do you let the rain take care of them or do you have a sprinkler system? I am going to have my husband see your video about going wild and buying, especially duplicates. I do that too! Thank you Robin

When I am away (and even when I am here), my irrigation waters my orchids 3 times per week. I have a separate orchid zone irrigation setting. When I am gone, the orchids are not fertilized. I am going to TRY to NOT buy any more duplicates due to space limitations. Thanks for your comment!
