A channel based on a variety of plants, focusing mainly on orchids and the educational care for them. I want to bring my world of botanicals into your screen. I have a passion for nature and the resources to share it.
Cultural information should only be used as a guide, and should be adapted to suit you. Your physical location; where you grow your plants, how much time you have to devote to their care, and many other factors, will need to be taken into account. Only then can you decide on the cultural methods that best suit you and your plants.

Thanks for a great video. All the vendors had very unique orchids and other plants. The new orchids make you want to shop.😊
Hi Nelson, so sorry I missed seeing you guys this weekend. By Sunday almost everyone was gone. Would you be so kind and share with me the addresses for Vicky’s nursery as well as J&J? Thank you and stay cool😉
WoW Teresita- Nelson was really cheeky today. haha Love to see so many lovely vendors who came out to support the local off-season OFEs orchid and plant fair and sale. You all did such a stellar video and the vendors really brought it too. Thank you once again for videoing this session and of course the educational segment before signing off. Be safe, keep swatting those mosquitoes and remember to keep it green. Respectfully,
Love all those vendors 😍Nice to see Teresita and thank you Nelson for taking us with you! 😊
God bless you, Simba ❤😢🇬🇧
Thank you for posting, I love an orchid as a houseplant! I'm going to check out the links and shop 😎
What is the proper procedure to ensure Banrot powder mixes well with water in the pump. Do I need to shake the pump while spraying ? I went to rinse out the pump after spraying for the 1st time today, only to find a bunch of wet powder residue at the bottom of the pump ….makes me wonder if I even got any Banrot products on the vandas😂
Thanks!
OFE totally delivered. Great vendors, amazing variety!
@@JustOneMoreOrchid I have a C. mendelii semi alba it is in flower right now growing up and house under lights

Awesome video as always! We had such a great time at OFEs. It’s always a must do! I love see that we are drawn to many of the same orchids! Great minds… 🎉
Totally agree! We always seem to have a blast when we are together. It never ever gets old. We do like allot of the same. Could it be that we love every orchid? lol!🤗
Makes me wish I was still in South Florida so I could run to all these little things, and run down to all the vendors in Homestead and visit everyone
I would be your tour guide Don. 🤗
Hi Nelson small show but with a lot of variety of beautiful orchids!as always it’s a great pleasure to watch yours videos 😍🌱🌱🌱🌱
Some day you must come to Miami for the weekend and visit an OFE fair. Than after the fair you can visit a bunch of different orchid nurseries in the nearby area.
Thank you for sharing tips, and thanks for the tour , have a great time 🤩
@@greityreyes5903 you are very welcome Greity. 💚
One would get the fragrance early in the morning.
Thank you for sharing your feeding method!
You’re welcome. I get asked all the time so being that I’m where I buy my goods, why not do a recap of what I use and how to use it
Always nice to see a new video notification from you 😊
Always nice to read kind comments like yours. 🫶🏼
Hi guys, yes, it's a Taveesuksa. I bought two three years ago. Terasita looks glamorous 😊. Looks like you all had a great day ❤🇬🇧
I love that Vanda. The colors are like technicolor. I’m happy I got the right name.
Hi Nelson, There will always be negativity out there. Fortunately their a very tiny few. Beauty and positivity outnumber them all. I'm one of very many who looks forward to watching you on my TV while tending to my orchids. You bring humour, kindness, and education into my home. ❤😊🇬🇧
Thank you Toni. I appreciate your kind words. Thanks God after that video upload it kind of stopped.

Another fabulous 👌 show 👌 ❤️ 🇬🇧
Thanks again!
Hi Nelson, I disagree with your avocado comment. Everyone knows the BEST avocados come from California 😂😂😂 but as for the rest of your video I have no word to express how beautiful and extravagant it looks. Literally it looks like a resort. Thank you for sharing love how you underplanted under the mature trees and let nature take over.. looks like every tree in your yard is the tree of life.. please continue to keep us posted!!! Stay greener
I love that! “Every tree looks like a tree of life”. I do love California avocados. The haas avocado are delicious. But we grow several different types here including Cuban avocados. They are called Catalina. In South Miami we’re lucky to be able to grow every type of avocado due to its tropical climate. No where else in the United States can you grow so many different types of Mangoes and Avocados. It is a blessing.
Your Dendrobiums are amazing. I wish I had the space to grow some. ❤ thank you for another great video to enjoy with my morning coffee. 🇨🇦
They do grow tall. You would need to purchase the smaller cane Dendrobium. They even have minis.
Gorgeous orchids!!!!! How often do you fertilise them?
Thank you. I usually feed monthly.
Ms. Mercedes takes 1st in show for her entire garden! 🥇🥇I am just Awstruck over her amazing specimens and the overall look of her garden. Could you tell us what state she is in ? I bet it’s somewhere in Florida(: Thank you again , I learned so much👍🏻👍🏻
Hello there! Mercedes is a true orchid master. I’ll be paying her a visit very soon she’s one of my favorites to visit. She lives in Homestead, Florida.
That plant at 13:30 is a Birkin. I have two of them. I like that fern. I just got an Australian tree fern.
Thank you!😊
OMG, these videos with you and Josh are on another level. The information is amazing. I love to view them twice. Because there's so much information. You both make a great team. Your like the Orchid squad. Im hoping to catch you live soon. 😂😂❤ 🇬🇧
Thank you Toni! I appreciate that. We were talking a couple of days ago about having another team up video. He lives about 8 hours away from me so it’s not that easy getting together. It’s usually when he does a show near by my home.
Your setup is a dream! Thank You for sharing
Thank you! 🙏
Saw my first antler dend at Krull Smith last week and definitely on my list now! They had one that the colors make it look like jewels when the light hits it!
Dendrobiums can become a big obsession. I have been binging on them this year.
I’m so jealous of your tree display! Please link the video of making it
Great job Nelson. Really nice tour of your yard. Very great clean-up. Thanks for sharing. ❤ the green with white stripes are birkins & the colourful red tree we call match-me-if-you-can or Jacob's coat is used being heated with oil for blisters, boils, swollen parts of body. It draws out festa or colds & aches.
oh wow! Did not know that about the copper leaf bush. I may just try that when I have swelling. Thank you!
That’s Philodendron Birkin
Beautiful garden so happy for you guys😊😊😊
Thank you Yolanta 🫶🏼
❤wow 👌 love your Ranch 😊 nice to come hone to an oasis ❤ I have those ginger plants coming up wild indoor garden. That white ginger flowers smell devine! Those monsteras are huge!! I've only seen such huge ones at our botanical garden 😮😊 great job. Gardening is most definitely a labor of love, and that shines thru ✨️
Thank you so much. We’ve had the monstera for about 6 years now. They do give amazing fruit. I need to get more ginger type plants. 🌱
I moved to a rural area almost 40 years ago . It's only 2 acres and an old (1883) landmarked Dutch farmhouse but I love it and don't ever want to live in a city again. Thanks for sharing your little paradise.
Wow! That sounds like an awesome place. 💚
Educational as always. I'm looking forward to seeing the mounted tree orchids in bloom again.
Me too! One of them is budding.
Gorgeous!!
💚
Can the Dendrobium Samarai be grown in southern California?
I’m not sure. I don’t see why not. Perhaps the humidity may be too low. If I were you I would try. Let me know how it does in your environment.
I really admire your ranch! I’ve always love, love, love it! I remember, the first video I watched was your video showing your ranch when your channel just started, and I haven’t even finished watching it, I already clicked subscribe button! That’s a lot of work but satisfying! Thanks for showing it again ❤
Awesome! Thank you so much for being one of my first viewers and still supporting. 💚🙏🏼🤗
