My 48 year old eyes can clearly read and see that this is dumplings, but my 10 year old memory sees it as delicious Hubba Bubba bubblegum tape! 🤤

23:53 Wow, those reminds me an Hostia (the one used for catholic communion at the Mass). In Spain you can buy the leftovers of the dough, as it cannot be reused. Its called cutouts, and are made of wafer. My granny used to buy them for me when I was a child haha

🤗☺🥰😚😋 Wow...I very much agree with you. Here in Canada we have them as well. I am French and we call them "OSTIE".... The French Catholique Church use to sell the leftovers..but they were not blessed of course...lol You could buy the cutouts at the little corner store for very cheap. I use to L😊VE them as a kid and still do now......lol One L❤VE

@@katerilevasseur8119 it’s a very dense bread that doesn’t rise. We use them here in the US in small square or rectangle shapes in soups but most popular is Chicken and Dumplings. It’s soooo good
I will never look at a dumpling the same way again.

I'd like to know if these coloring powders are spice powder or is something else, because I would like to make dumpling dough by myself in home, I'm so far from Korea, and my local grocery stores had not that kind of products yet.

У них ничего не пропадает!!! Всё переработают. Смотрела про мясную продукцию,так там всё в ход пошло,кроме мяса,хвосты,кишки,уши,кости,даже прямая кишка. Всё едят и все у них деликатес.

I was trying to find out about the colourings myself. Yellow is often turmeric, and the green might be spinach, or mugwort, or similar leafy herbs. The red that I would have guessed as tomato may actually be gac, a fruit with deep red components that are used like this. Pink is often beet powder, it makes a beautiful shade. If you ever see blue, it can be butterfly pea powder or even red cabbage juice.
