I have only been lasering for a couple of months and although there are lots of people doing tutorials, I must admit you are the one I watch and listen to. You seem to explain thing a lot more succinctly and make it easier to follow. Many thanks for the time you put into your video's and I look forward to many more. Steve in the UK.

Wow! Thank you so much Steve! I really appreciate it! I'm a slow learner, so I try and explain it to myself the way I would learn it the best. I often have to practice several times for it to sink in, which is why I usually do a technique several times in a video.

Wanted to eliminate anything and everything that could go wrong before I started...Thanks, and please do realize that you're right on track when it comes to "long winded" as you say...I mean right on track in the way that everything is explained in detail slowly and perfectly for those who want to learn. Thanks so much for this, Rich! I've learned a ton from your awesome tutorials. I am trying to set up a 3 track cribbage board using this method for hole placement. I wondered if there is an easy way to do an offset inward for the subsequent tracks' holes, keeping them aligned with first track (or to shift them in anyway, if possible)? It's a coffee mug-shaped board, so it's wonky. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

I'm just wondering if there is a specific reason for ensuring that the shape is aligned to the second shapes' origin? I ask because, just for test, I did this with a large circle with a smaller circle around it. I snapped the small circle to the larger one (after converting it to a path) , and ran the "copy along path" function. It worked as you showed (never knew about this, so thank you for that) and THEN I checked to see where the origin was. Sure enough, I didn't have the shape anywhere near the origin of the circle. Just wondering if that does matter for some reason I'm not seeing? Thanks!
