Last 800 years, many versions of the Infinite Life Sutra were brought into China from India. We all should be grateful to our Grand Master Xia LiangJu, who devoted 10 years in isolation, to edit and compiled all the various versions into one complete book. This is the version we are studying and learning today. Though the Infinite Life Sutra was ready for propagation in 1945 but it was only in 1982, Grand Master Chin Kung started spreading it to the world. After that Pure Land Buddhism centres began to flourish around the world. If it is not for Grand Master Chin Kung we wouldn't have the opportunity to learn this profound Sutra. Without Master Chin Kung continous lectures we would not be able to understand this supreme method and gain the inconceivable benefits in chanting Amituofo. After the introduction of the Infinite Life Sutra to the world, cultural education rise again and prosperity returns to China. Is the a coincidence? China Gongde Wu Liang. 🙏🙏🙏

Why we must chant Amituofo? The same we ask ourselves, why we need electricity for our life? Without electricity, we will suffer a lot more and have to work very hard. Transportations, machineries and kitchen utensils all need electricity to function. Electricity is like the supernatural power that provide for all our convinience : light up the place, get our machines and utensils to work for us. Chanting Amituofo is like the electricity. Charging our body to become strong and healthy, open up our wisdom and extend our life. These great fortune is what everyone is seeking for. 🙏🙏🙏

*A friend asked me why I greet him "Amituofo" I am not a Buddhist?* I told him, why greet me "Good Morning", I am not a whiteman? I asked him, have you seen anyone getting better after all the years of your greetings " Good Morning"? I assure him that if all families members can greet each others "Amituofo" guarantee there will be harmony in the families. With harmony, other good fortunes will naturally follow through. First, one must be cleared what is the meaning in the name " Amituofo"? This Sanskrit Greeting is : Wish you, your families, and relatives, infinite good fortune, infinite wisdom and infinite life. Who don't wish to have such infinite blessings? Greeting each other "Amituofo" is better than good morning because good morning does not include the rest of the day. We have so much faith in whiteman's cultures. Many were so brainwashed by westerners for too long and even forsake their own cultures. Chinese don't have religion. Chinese place the importance of good teachers with wisdom above all. Taoism is about law of nature as taught by Lao Tzu. In India is called karma. Confucius Teachings is about filial piety and respecting elders and teachers. Buddhism is an education of wisdom. Taoism has nothing to do with temples believing in spirits. Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism emphasize the importance of profound education and don't believe in ritual ceremony. * Amituofo* such pure word from our innate true self-nature will neutralize all confrontation in families, will turn big disasters and reduce into small disaster and will avert misfortune in one's path.
