(English) Heart Sutra
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
when practicing deeply the Prajna Paramita
perceives that all five skandhas are empty
and is saved from all suffering and distress.
Shariputra,
form does not differ from emptiness,
emptiness does not differ from form.
That which is form is emptiness,
that which is emptiness form.
The same is true of feelings,
perceptions, impulses, consciousness.
Shariputra,
all dharmas are marked with emptiness;
they do not appear or disappear,
are not tainted or pure,
do not increase or decrease.
Therefore, in emptiness no form, no feelings,
perceptions, impulses, consciousness.
No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind; no color, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch,
no object of mind;
no realm of eyes
and so forth until no realm of mind consciousness.
No ignorance and also no extinction of it,
and so forth until no old age and death
and also no extinction of them.
No suffering, no origination,
no stopping, no path, no cognition,
also no attainment with nothing to attain.
The Bodhisattva depends on Prajna Paramita
and the mind is no hindrance;
without any hindrance no fears exist.
Far apart from every perverted view one dwells in Nirvana. In the three worlds
all Buddhas depend on Prajna Paramita
and attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
Therefore know that Prajna Paramita
is the great transcendent mantra,
is the great bright mantra,
is the utmost mantra,
is the supreme mantra
which is able to relieve all suffering
and is true, not false.
So proclaim the Prajna Paramita mantra,
proclaim the mantra which says:
gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha
gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha
gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha.

This is really the spiritual music of all Asians. I went to find the translator of this Heart Sutra, master XuanZang(玄奘) himself. Of course, the current Heart Sutra actually has seven versions translated from Sanskrit into Chinese, and master Xuanzang's version also evolved from master kumarosh's version. Master Xuanzang is a combination of monk and explorer. In order to obtain the real sutra, he set out from Chang'an (Xi'an), crossed Xinjiang on foot, crossed the Pamir Plateau, and finally entered India. Compared with Journey to the West the novel, he has not only experienced 81 difficulties. I think he must be very touched when he read "seeing the five implications are empty and spending all hardships".

    Thank you Tinna. This is Japanese pronunciation. Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra is very popular in Japan. It is wonderful that China, Taiwan, Korea, Viet Nam, and Japan can share the same text and the same ideas. I pay my respect to Master Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty, who brought and translated Sanskrit scriptures from distant India.

    Buddhist texts in Japanese mean nothing in Japanese as they are first written down in Chinese then chanted using the Japanese On'yomi pronunciation of the Kanji, thus resulting in nonsense in both Chinese and Japanese.

In Japan, the Heart Sutra is very familiar. I also chant the Heart Sutra repeatedly at my parents' graves and in order to repose the souls of those who died in the great earthquake in Japan,3.11,2011. It is usually said that it is good to chant the Heart Sutra without raising or lowering the pitch too much, but I think it is also good to chant the Heart Sutra like she sings. In my experience, by chanting the Heart Sutra over and over, I sometimes feel that several souls (spirits) are approaching me. It can be scary at first, but you get used to it quickly. When observing while chanting the Heart Sutra, souls (spirits) feel nostalgic for the Heart Sutra, and even feel that they are listening. At such times, I have no fear of chanting the Heart Sutra, but rather want to repeat it over and over again for the benefit of those who have no physical body. Through the Heart Sutra, the living and the dead gather at the same level. And the peaceful time passes with Heart Sutra.

    I’m not Buddhist, but I also greatly admire Buddha, and as a bhakti yogi in my own way (different tradition than Buddhism but similar roots), the heart sutra more than any sutra feels like a bhakti work of art. When Tinna sings it like this, it feels like such a heart elevating work of bhakti service to all of us. You must be emptied to be filled by Spirit. This rendering by Tinna always brings happy, calm, purging tears to my eyes. Thank you for your voice Tinna 🙏

    This is the pinnacle of Mahayana Buddhism. By letting go of all attachments one reaches the other shore (nirvana). In an English translation this is "true beyond all doubt". On a practical note I am amazed how she is able to chant each syllable flawlessly on each beat without no gap between to take a breath. Extraordinary. Makes me want to take a breath just listening to it! I suppose due to much practice and techniques known to singers.

    I left too and embraced the religion of my ancestors which are Jewish with some Asian connections way back. Coming across the mystical branch of Judaism know as Chasidic philosophy or Kabbalah which amazingly shares many of the same precepts found in Buddha teaching. Reincarnation etc. The problem I found with the C. religion is has a tendency to get people because of their hurt places to make everything in faith all about them - me, me, and more me - what I want, what I need, I need victory, I need this, I need that, I need God. In Judaism I saw a totally different perspective that put my needs in balance. God needs me. I am God’s servant and servant of others. I have a God I can serve, instead of a God who serves me. The truth that God is One and we are all a part of the One. I can takes parts of the C. And the J. religion and put them into perspective with the Messiah who is the Supreme Buddha and relate His sacrifice to “religion” fulfilling the Temple sacrifices representing death to ego/self selfishness. Now I am embracing Buddhism, not as a religion but a philosophy of living that embraces everything in the Torah and in the N.T. instructing us in the Buddha way to live. It’s there. The emptiness of self with the joy of the energy of Creation/Creator flowing in emptiness with all openness to possibilities. Really appreciating life, others in forgiveness and non judgment. Religion has a tendency to produce judgment of differences. Judgment comes from ego and need. Having said all this I believe we are all on a journey to truth and a personal learning curve and all religion has some truth making it possible for those who embrace it to mature spiritually. I hope you enjoyed my sharing. Kol Tov - which means wish for you all the best (in Hebrew). Shalom and Namaste beloved one.

    You incarnated in this body by choosing the path to bring light and inspiration to people. To do this, before the current incarnation, you have chosen tools to help you follow the path you have chosen - to sing beautifully, create music and the ability to sing in public. You took up show business, achieved success, but this was not your path. However, the tools you have chosen to help you follow your chosen path have been applied in the wrong direction. You were a great singer and composer of pop music. I saw your performance in Prague and the video from 2014 on KZread. But you were one of 1000 beautiful singers on the planet. When you set foot on your true path, you became the only one on the entire planet who can do this. You are now on the right path and this is clearly reflected in the current inspired creativity. With your inspired creativity, you open to millions what was inaccessible to them until now. A big bow to you for posting the inspired masterpieces you created for free access, making it freely available to anyone on KZread. Listening to Usnisa Vijaya Dharani something deeply resonates in me that I have spoken this language in the past. I have great respect for Buddhism, but my path is different. My path leads through Advaita Vedanta and the teachings of Abraham. All paths are different, but they all lead to the same Truth.

    Miss Tinna, thank you very much for another chanting. It was truly divine and aesthetically pleasing in the eyes, that calms the soul. Listening in the heart sutra made me reflect that everything has its purpose but never always permanent. Suffering and pain, stress, depression and anxiety are all impermanent. But that impermanence makes joy and happiness worth while as we enjoy it with the ones we love the most. I can't thank you enough Miss Tinna, its always been a blast seeing your chanting. THE HEART OF PRAJNA PARAMITA SUTRA 般若波羅蜜多經的核心 When Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva was practicing the profound prajna paramita, he illuminated the five skandhas and saw that they are all empty, and he crossed beyond all suffering and difficulty. Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form. So, too, are feeling, cognition, formation, and consciousness. Shariputra, all dharmas are empty of characteristics. They are not produced, not destroyed, not defiled, not pure; and they neither increase nor diminish. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling, cognition, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, objects of touch, or dharmas; no field of the eyes up to and including no field of mind consciousness; and no ignorance or ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death or ending of old age and death. There is no suffering , no accumulating, no extinction, no way, no understanding and no attaining. Because nothing is attained, the Bodhisattva through reliance on prajna paramita is unimpeded in his mind. Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind. Ultimately Nirvana! All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi through reliance on prajna paramita. Therefore, know that prajna paramita is a great spiritual mantra, a great bright mantra, a supreme mantra, an unequalled mantra. It can remove all suffering; it is genuine and not false. That is why the mantra of prajna paramita was spoken. Recite it like this: Gaté gaté paragaté parasamgaté bodhi svaha!

    Well Allo gang, I wish you love light an all be blessed with appy ness. Several years ago I had my life turned upside down by nerve damage to my lower back. After 7 yes 7 attempts at callin it a day, it was a stormy night quite late, around 11pm or so in UK, I found Tinna muzic. It roared in like the proverbial lion an knocked me for six. After a couple of wks an watchin all the vids, a huge emotional clearance an weight moved an I began to clear an heal. I’ve always been a fan of Lord Buddha an so my journey began. I’m now doin well annlisten to The Guys as I call them, Da muzic helped me to learn to walk again, an many times I listen I let tears of joy roll down my face an say, thanks guys, your work is so important to so many people. I think maybe Lord Buddha bless him or what ever brings this incredible muzic into our lives to cleanse, heal, work out the emotions an kinks an so many other things. My hope is that Tinna an the guys know how important these messages are an the work they do touches people in a incredible way. Huge thanks Tinna an All the guys who make this work possible. Huge thanks an blessings guys. Truely. Thanks for sharing guys Paul 16.56 gmt Uk cheers

    It's so crazy how the universe works. I felt the tug and pull of love, perhaps from my past - that kind of pushed me to looking into the darkness, and I was like "I need to get back into my spirituality," This was the first video that popped up on my KZread. You gained a follower. I understand: Form is no other than emptiness, Emptiness no other than form. Form is only emptiness, Emptiness only form. THANK YOU. Much love and light always.
