since childhood i was raised as orthodox christian but soon i realised that it mostly tortured me. my whole teenage years until i realised that IF christian god is real either he is cruel or he is not as written in THE book. after then i thought that i was atheist but in reality i was always agnostic. i can see that each religions has its own truth. these past 2 years i have seen true beauty of budhism religion/phylosopy. i still am agnostic but i can actually feel real connections with people who are awakened like the one who sings here or who he sings about. i feel deep connection. i cried tears of happiness as i heard his voice. it's like hearing voice of long lost brother(more like 100 years have passed). we will meet in this form and many other.

its not about feeling or emotions, no teaching is, its about understanding, the mind is the one creating trouble for the human form, so only through the mind you can solve it, mind i dont mean intellect, not a school like understanding. Everything can feel nice, this doesnt determine if its right or not

This is the long version of heart sutra when the bodhisatva Avalokestesvara tells Sariputra ( one of the main monk of Sakyamuni Buddha) about the essential of all things in the universe and about the emptiness of all and understanding of the truth of beginning and end. This is the purest and highest sutra in Buddhism, very deep meaning and not all people understand the meaning unless you have already had a very strong affinity with Buddha.

"This is the purest and highest sutra in Buddhism...." No, this is the highest sutra in Mahayana Buddhism. It does not appear in the Buddha's original dispensation, but first appeared centuries later. It does not appear in the Sutta Pitaka, the earliest record of Buddha's teachings and it is not recognized as authentic by Theravadans. The Sutra's meanings are deep. An understanding of the Buddha's teaching aids comprehension, but deep understanding of the meaning arises with awakening. The greater the awakening, the deeper the understanding. However, this Sutra is also a political document and attempts to establish a later interpretation of the Buddha's original teaching as superior to the original teaching which is attributed to Buddha while he was personally present on Earth.

I played this song on my father's dead bed. The song just came up ~ out of the blue ~ I wasn't searching for it. Not understanding a word, it spoke to all of us ~ him&me, the nurses ~ the whole ward...it spoke to our heart♥ The voice is so beautiful & peaceful🙏 Now when I listen to it, it fills my whole being & it always will. Even though it reminds me of my last 2 weeks with my dad at the ICU in EBE it will always comfort me. Knowing: all us well ❤️

It touches the soul immediately doesn’t it ...u go into deep prayer mode straight away ... pulled inside yourself ... the echos of the past in the music ... that feeling of loss but being ok with it now ❤

I kind of feel the same way I listen to it every day. For me it’s so that I remember to be brave and stop kidding my heart and just believe in love that has no boundaries and never leaves. Even when I have never it. Funny now that I said that because it’s clearly all around us but I guess we are standing to close to the painting to see passed the spot we’re still working on. I hope this song will bring you peace every time you need it. Misty

DE NÄ SANG GYÄ KYI THÜ TSHE DANG DÄN PA SHA RI BÜ JANG CHHUB SEM PA SEM PA CHHEN PO PHAG PA CHÄN RÄ ZIG WANG CHHUG LA DI KÄ CHE MÄ SO Then, through the power of Buddha, the venerable Shariputra said this to the bodhisatt va mahasatt va arya Avalokiteshvara: RIG KYI BU / GANG LA LA SHE RAB KYI PHA ROL TU CHHIN PA ZAB MÖI CHÖ PA CHÄ PAR DÖ PA DE JI TAR LAB PAR JA / DE KÄ CHE MÄ PA DANG “How should any son of the lineage train who wishes to practi ce the acti vity of the profound perfecti on of wisdom?” JANG CHHUB SEM PA SEM PA CHHEN PO PHAG PA CHÄN RÄ ZIG WANG CHHUG GI TSHE DANG DÄN PA SHA RA DVA TI BU LA DI KÄ CHE MÄ SO He said that, and the bodhisatt va mahasatt va arya Avalokiteshvara said this to the venerable Sharadvati putra. SHA RI BU / RIG KYI BU AM RIG KYI BU MO GANG LA LA SHE RAB KYI PHA RÖL TU CHHIN PA ZAB MÖI CHÖ PA CHÄ PAR DÖ PA DE “Shariputra, any son of the lineage or daughter of the lineage who wishes to practi ce the acti vity of the profound perfecti on of wisdom DI TAR NAM PAR TA WAR JA TE / PHUNG PO NGA PO DE DAG KYANG should look upon it like this, correctly and repeatedly beholding RANG ZHIN GYI TONG PAR NAM PAR YANG DAG PAR JE SU TA O those fi ve aggregates also as empty of inherent nature. DE ZHIN DU DUG NGÄL WA DANG / KÜN JUNG WA DANG / GOG PA DANG LAM ME Similarly, there is no suff ering, originati on, cessati on, and path; YE SHE ME / THOB PA ME / MA THOB PA YANG ME DO there is no exalted wisdom, no att ainment, and also no nonatt ainment. Buddha is dharma. He who sees the Buddha sees the dharma. He who sees dharma sees the Buddha. Dharma is ultimate truth. All and nothing is dharma. I was raised in a small village in Sicily as a Roman Catholic. I've spent most of my teenage years asking questions about life, my life, the truth of existence, and purpose. Buddhism is not strictly a religion. It's much deeper than that. Through Buddhism I am able to seek the answers to my questions since other faiths have failed to provide me with systematic and coherent answers.

You leave the concept of religion for now always stories are connected. I don't say whether it is true or false it has importance certainly. Whatever knowledge that has been there in India and all the Dharmic religions Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism has searched the truth in a different way also a scientific in sense not just having stories but systematic exploration thereby coming up with highest realizations.

Oh my God! this put me into total love filled tears of gratitude and sweet remembrance of the many many lives i lived as a Buddhist Monk! I have the Avalokestesvara wall hanging and before I bought it in 2003 - I just cried and cried as I walked by it at a Body Mind Spirit Fair! After 2 days of my heart knowing I had to have it - I bought it...it is still a treasured piece in my healing office! With all my heart I am so grateful to hear this and for you posting this on You Tube....! May the Divine in All be Activated by this ever so beautiful and meaningful mantra!

The Buddha sat on Vulture's Peak in Rajagriha, India, where many monks, Bodhisattvas, gods, demi gods, lay practitioners, and animals were present to hear him teach this through Avalokiteshvara to Shariputra. It embodies in a brief form the entire perfection of wisdom sutras as the condensed Heart Sutra. It is the core of the Buddha's teachings and explains the nature of reality. Khenpo Pema Choephel chants this so beautifully.

THE HEART SUTRA 《心經》 Avalokita, the Holy Lord and Bodhisattva was moving in the deep course of the Wisdom which has gone beyond. He looked down from on high, he beheld but five heaps, and he saw that in their own-being they were empty. Here, O Sariputra, form is emptiness and the very emptiness is form; emptiness does not differ from form, nor does form differ from emptiness; whatever is form, that is emptiness, whatever is emptiness, that is form, the same is true of feeling, perception, impulses and consciousness. Here, O Sariputra, all dharmas are marked with emptiness; they are neither produced nor stopped, neither defiled nor immaculate, neither deficient nor complete. Therefore, O Sariputra, where there is emptiness there is neither form, nor feeling, nor perception, nor impulse, nor consciousness; no eye or ear or nose or tongue or body or mind; no form, nor sound, nor smell, nor taste, nor touchable nor object of mind; no sight-organ element, and so forth, until we come to: no mind consciousness element; there is no ignorance, nor extinction of ignorance, and so forth, until we come to: there is no decay and death, no extinction of decay and death. There is no suffering, nor origination, nor stopping, nor path. There is no cognition, no attainment and no non-attainment. Therefore, O Sariputra, owing to a Bodhisattva's indifference to any kind of personal attainment, and through his having relied upon the Perfection of Wisdom, he dwells without thought-coverings. In the absence of thought-coverings he has not been made to tremble, he has overcome what can upset, in the end sustained by Nirvana. All those who appear as Buddhas in the three periods of time fully awake to the utmost, right and perfect Enlightenment because they have relied upon the perfection of wisdom. Therefore one should know the prajnaparamita as the great spell, the spell of great knowledge, the utmost spell, the unequalled spell, allayer of all suffering, in truth - for what could go wrong? By the prajnaparamita has this spell been delivered. It runs like this: ( Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone altogether beyond, O what an awakening, all-hail .
