The whole "equip army with special upgrades" sounds like the Nova Covert Ops upgrade system where you can pick and choose which upgrades go on which units from the tech you manage to collect on the battlefield via bonus objectives, and the item system is basically inventory system from WarCraft III which with the heroes meshes really well. All this really makes sense for a campaign that is supposed to be released kind of like TV show seasons, so each new map will hold new bonus objectives with more new tech and items to collect that will boost you later on in the more complicated maps later on.

Sounds like the game is heading in the right direction. Looking forward to it.

I have so much faith in these guys. I bet the finalized maps are going to look incredible. I can't wait for the game to go public and see more pro matches with some of the new stuff!

Yo this build sounds super cool

The hexen change is amazing. I think this is gonna not only make the game more balanced, but much more FUN for infernal players early on. I like these cool units, that spice up the very early game.

Shadowflayer looks like a crossbreed of Observer and Scourge, imagine if it could also root up like Observers, Horner Ravens, and Royal Witnesses

It would be great if they add an acuatic race like the nagas in Warcraft

When are we getting this next play test? The new creeps and upgrades to the environments (post apocalypse) look like they will help give this game a better aesthetic.

I'm really crossing my fingers on the campaign they don't make it TOO gimmicky in each mission. Gimmicks are a good thing, and make the missions memorable and different, but there have been way too many RTS games (including SC2) that make the campaign so custom and different from 1v1 that I don't even feel like I'm getting to play the RTS. Let me do some macro, gosh darnit!

Nothing that i have seen, but given SG is still beta i would assume there will be a LOT of optimisation during early access. The devs have stated repeatedly in interviews that they want the game to run on low-spec pcs so as many ppl as possible can play.

I doubt it, they're not really at that point yet. They're goals are more design oriented than squeezing out performance, that sort of things generally comes much later on.

I wonder if Gaunts are worth even making anymore? Also Venom Trap seems to be doing about 10% of the damage Widow Mines do.

They'll almost certainly be big changes to their damage and overall role I think. True though the Venom Trap doesn't look anywhere near as scary as Widow Mines but I guess we'll see!

Like the new Hexen unit, I just hope they maybe reconsider the "hair" that really doesn't go with the rest of the model, I hope they add some horns to it or whatever. Cool model and unit but that makes it incomplete.

The Pricing is atrocious and ill never support this game. It Overwatch 2 all over again. Pay alot for tiny amount of PVE content a few missions at a time. How we have regressed from 1998, its insanity.

Can confirm too, was wondering the same but you can see in Frost Giants footage that creeps are surrounding the shrines like warcraft 3 fountains.
