Massive FISH AND CHIPS in East London
It's Friday in London so that means Fish and Chips! I went to Rock N Roe in Buckhurst Hill, a neighborhood staple for 22 years. Outside the touristy parts of London, I can see why locals flock here when they get out of work on Fridays to kick their weekends off with a bang. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. They use vegetable oil for all their frying, particularly grapeseed. The chips are super thick cut. The fish was very moist and the batter was heavenly. It was my first time having mushy peas and I see now why this is a staple side to have with fish and chips. And I've got to say, curry sauce with fish and chips is the way to go. I would buy that sauce and use it on everything, just wow! Check out this place if you're on this side of town, I think they have two other locations in London as well. And let me know what you think, or if there are other chippies in town I've got to check out.

Yummy- fish and chips! i love onions too, so i would eat it in the same way like you!!! and i`m so happy that it was still crispy after pouring vinegar and so on- i feel the happiness with you! because the crispyness is the best of this meal! love so much to see you again- you`re the most heart-warming person i`ve ever seen. thank you so much!!!! rebekka
And the most important thing is : the officiel staff who works in English restorants are nice, polite and friendly minded people. For me it is the most important.
Mushy peas are marrowfat peas. They go mushy when you cook them naturally. They have not been in food processor. I get dried marrowfat peas soak and cook they go mushy.very nutritious

My favorite food. During my stay in England, (many years before) I had opportunity to eat much better version of that meal. Fish and chipcs were realy delicious, nice prepared, very tasty. Chips is chips but fish had realy nice taste. The best. But I enjoy to watch your video. Fish and chips as legend say, was favorite food workers on the constructions and fishermen. They realy knew what is the best. According to that legend they have so many restorants with "fish and chips to go".

Once again one of my favs. I’ll pass on the curry sauce and pickled onion. But the fish size is perfect and those chunky fries I’m on my way to heaven. Do you stop in the middle sometimes so your hubby can try the food when it’s hot? Loving these videos……..🤗🇨🇦

The fish was SO crispy and flakey. And the chips were nice and thick cut, perfectly fried. Yes, I made sure to stop so Andres could eat while his was still hot. The guy is a trooper! The best :) I really appreciate the feedback and support!

I don't believe so. They had a thickness of just mashed peas.
