#boschprofessional #canopy #woodworking #firewood
Hello guys!
This time I and my father in law bulit nice firewood shed which will do its job also for storing some other things like wheelbarrows, shovels, axes, woodchoping...etc.
Also it has pretty big roofing, so it will be collecting nice amount of water, which we will be using for gardening our raised bed planter.
We used a spruce wood and metal roofing. Hope you will enjoy the video!
Thanks for watching!

Great job, nice to see how entire family work together, greetings from Poland
You guys are some of the smartest people I follow on utube, you made that job look too easy, sturdy, airy, proper pitch and drainage, you can get a boatload of firewood under there, love it.

Everything you and your family does is done to perfection! This wood shelter is strong, 💪 it will keep the fire-wood dry and the shelter looks great too! It's an art to stack wood neatly, you have mastered that also. Bravo for working together as a united team!❤👍

❤🎉 Hello 🎉
I learned from experience, you don't want the wood beside the house. Moisture and the wall airflow etc just don't have the best relationship. My bed was on the inside, was getting moldy. I like mine right across from my door.

I guess you are not used to wood houses. It's fine to attach a wood structure to a wood house. If you get mould inside you did something very wrong.

Actually, I have to agree with MrCapirnut :)

Yeah this is soft criticism but you never put a bug trap up against or next to your house. Termite swarms are a real thing.
Another great video! I see the leaves are changing color. Are you feeling rushed to complete jobs before winter?

Yes, i have a few jobs to do before winter:) one of them is to finish the A frame, but I was unable to get the rear wall glass. But yesterday I got it so hopefully I will manage to do it before winter :)
Where are you located? Are you in the usa or overseas? Love your channel. JUST FOUND YOU!!!!

You are getting plenty of comments on the negatives of putting firewood against a house. Causing mold inside the house doesn’t make sense. Holding moisture against the house will cause rot in the logs of the cabin. Termites, other bugs, and small critters are all real problems. The other one is fire danger. A lot of houses burned here in Oregon because of nice dry firewood stacked against them. I do like the craftsmanship you show in your builds. 😊

Never store wood less than 30 feet from a house: termites, bugs, critters. Temporary stacking: wood to be burned in 24-48 hours, OK.
