When we decluttered our closets I posted most of it on Poshmark and made over 2K, which we are going to spend on a vacation. ♥ I love watching decluttering.

We slowly replaced all of our throw pillows with 18x18 pillow inserts and then just purchased pillow covers, for all seasons and holidays. It cleared up SO much clutter and space!

I did this same thing! It has definitely freed up a lot more room!

You should totally get a small area rug for in your closet. It would help on the dust and feel nice when you are getting dressed!

When I did my closet clean out and organization, I changed my plastic hangers to slim hangers. Changing the hangers to slim gave me more space in my tiny closet. I use wooden hangers for my coats and jackets. I donated all of my plastic hangers. Just a suggestion you can get slim hangers to have more space in your closet. Great job decluttering and organizing!

When I organize my clothes and my husband's clothes we organize them by seasons. It just seems to make more sense for both of us. Great job on your closet! I used to keep all my throw pillows as well. But I found my taste in color/texture would change and I would end up buying new. So, I made the decision to donate the ones I had put up. It freed up so much space. Thank you for the decluttering vlog - I love them as it is very motivating!❤

Velvet hangers are a lifesaver. They give you much more space than plastic

My closest was cluttered so bad, so i got busy and decluttered it. Now it looks Really nice. I donated an awful lot of my clothes that i didn't wear anymore and didn't fit. Im so proud of myself ❤

I keep our master closet organize with mine and my husband's clothes. I organize both sides by clothing item type (t-shirt, polos, sweaters, hoodies, pants, etc) then do by color. It always feels so refreshing when it's done and I can see everything I have there to choose from .

I love these decluttering videos, yay for another one! We organize our closet by style and length. I also have to change out my Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter wardrobes, so I'm doing that of course twice a year, and I have regular pieces that can be used for any season so they stay in all year. I declutter a little at a time, especially when I change out for the season, but I still have SOOOO much that I could get rid of. (That's hard for me because I feel like I've invested in them and should keep them for "just in case". It's a process!) Thank you for another great video! Great video! Giving me some motivation I’ve been lacking lately 😅 one thing I do with all my cushions as they take up a lot of space is use space saver bags and stack them up and use the space saving hanging bag for items I don’t use for that specific season like bulky coats 😊

Great video and motivation. I'm in the process of decluttering. Turned the hangers on all my tees and shirts to see what I really wear. After washing the item it goes back on the rack the correct way. Its amazing how I only wear my favorites. 😃

I just declutterred our clothes closet. I got rid of a lot of stuff. It’s a good feeling when it’s all said and done. I love your shoe cabinet. I definitely need something like that. Hey Amy! Great job on your closet! It might be a bit of an investment but have you thought of buying velvet hangers? It was life changing for me. It's absolutely amazing the difference and looks high end. Also, have you thought about using pillow covers and downsizing the number of pillows? There are so many covers to choose from. All this to say, your closet looks terrific as is. Can't wait to see next week!❤

I love your closet space! Mine aren’t big but I use 2 closets in my house since no one is in the spare room. I keep seasonal clothes in my main closet in my bedroom. I sort by type. Color is not an issue with me at all. Also, I have 3 of the sweatshirts from Walmart and I love them. I don’t see them in the store anymore though.

Amazing video as always. I always put jackets, jumpers, T-shirts etc together but not in colour order. But I do like my clothes and my husbands clothes to face the same way 😂 xx

Sweaters are heavy so they tend to warp on hangers which is why they advise storing them flat.

When hanging your clothes back up turn your hangers backwards and then when you go thru your clothes later any hanger still hanging backwards you didn’t wear that and you can declutter knowing you didn’t wear it.

I organize by style but I also hang most everything especially like all nice clothes, sweaters, sweatshirts and the just do drawers mainly for pants, shorts, and some lounge wear. I would get rid of the drawers in the closet and hang up more of those items, less to fold and easier to see.

Hello Amy, I'm new to your channel and loving it. I love the layout of your closet is so simple and functional. What company made it ?

I organize by seasons then by dresses, pants, leggins, jeans, everyday shirts and work shirts and then sleeve length within the shirts. Love a good organized closet. Makes life easier. Like a good organized pantry or bathroom - you know where everything is and don't have to search.

Hi you can store the winter cloth in containers then just leave the summer cloth in the closet if that helps

I had a thought regarding your linen situation. Do you have enough space in your laundry room to build a narrow cabinet next to your counter/sink area? You could use the bottom for the laundry basket you store in there & the top for linen storage.

Two things: 1. wall or door mounted jewelry cabinet with mirror; 2. hanging your clothes in color order, makes a big difference and it's not difficult to keep to be honest

I just cleaned out my walk in closet last week. Oh gosh! What a mess, but it looks so much better now. And also, I cleaned out my drawers (dresser) and got rid of some t-shirts that don't fit me anymore. Will do the kitchen soon!

I do try to colorize them my short sleeve. Nice pretty tops and my sweaters, but I will tell you. It's hard to do because no matter what when you wash them and put them up , you will put him back in wrong place❤❤❤

Hi Amy - please give the vacuum bags another try! I have 17 throw pillows in 5 large vacuum bags in one big tote in my garage. My master closet no longer looks like a storage unit 😊
