I bet your arms felt like they were on fire when you completed your duties of clearing that frequently crossed path. I also bet that as soon as you dgot home, you popped open a nice cold brew and relaxed at home, knowing that you did something so selfless and felt a huge sense of accomplishment, depsite not being financially compensated for your blood, sweat and tears. I’m pretty sure that you somehow knew in the back of your mind that those people that crossed that path, were somehow talking so much sh*t to others about what you are doing, but you didn’t give a flying f**k, you kept on busting your ass, regardless. Keep up the good work, buddy and ignore those that think otherwise.

Hello from Texas we are fighting the same type of problem in our Texas Lakes. It is a form of Hydrilla here that if not taken it off the water, it will cover the water and stop all the oxygen to the fish and they will die. It is impossible to swim or boat in a lake that is covered with hydrilla.

That's water hyacinth, and it's a terrible pest. It grows like crazy in hot climates. The only way to stop it is to get rid of every bit.

Con todo el respeto hacia el trabajador. Pero me parece ilógico todo el esfuerzo de quitar está maleza en el agua de dejarla ir... todo se volverá a quedar en algún lugar. It doesn't look like the road ever becomes water free. I can't understand why a culvert or bridge weren't installed previously. Looks kinda dangerous. Thank goodness for this dude to make it safer.

It is good to see a good deed being done if only for You tube content. Would have been far better to remove it from the waterways, as we all know that water hyacinth will flow down stream and anchor itself and expand. A case of ' out of sight, out of mind ' or ' not in my back yard '.
