It makes total sense that Andromeda has Krogan that can fight the Genophage. Mordin's whole back story was based on him having to modify the Genophage BECAUSE the Krogan were adapting 🤓

The only thing on my mind is they kept the final scene in ME3 (for Legendary) where the grandfather is with his grandson and when the kid asks for another of Shepards stories he says "its getting late but...ok, one more story"

OK I have a VERY unhinged theory that explains how we can get the message from Andromeda in the trilogy timeline. I thought this when I saw the tweet about the two galaxies colliding in the very distant future. And then I saw your videos about the dark energy possibly effecting time and the Crucible and the Mass relays sending dark energy throughout the Milkyway. So... maybe when the Crucible activated, the dark energy released caused an acceleration/shift in time in the Miklyway in relation to the Andromeda and with that when they send the message in 2819 it is received here in 2190. And with them using the Quantum entanglement or whatever it's called, it's practically in real-time. That way we could have both teams working together to investigate the Benefactor and maybe building a mega-relay using all the available data from both galaxies. I think the MUD-skipper theory is quite plausible. I just love your videos.

This theory rocks!! I have my own theory on how the Andromeda message could be received in the Milky Way, but this one is very plausible and awesome! Glad you enjoy the videos. :)

One thing that always confused me about the destroy ending is that at one point you can ask Hackett, will this affect the Geth? And he tells you emphatically that no, our scientists have made sure it will not affect the Geth in any way.

I would actually like for there to be more than one N7 in the universe. Doesn’t mean they have to be just like shep.

An invisible conductor... Hmm and who is just the person to figure out the plot behind the system alliance after they spared all expensive and are about to give up.... You make the call they never thought they have to make....call Shepard as a last resource. Hell maybe he's retired and liara is keeping him hidden because he wants to rest.

On another note, finding out that the voice actors of the Ryders recieved death threats?!!!!!! Now thats just plain stupid and insane of crazy people that do crap like that because of a game!!! Shows you where some idiots have the priorities at!

Is it possible that with today's technology, we could see a 'make it YOUR story' approach with this next game? I'm a 'Shepard' guy, but I think Ryder deserves a chance to thrive in this universe also. Do you think it's possible Bioware knows they are up against a wall and say, "we have to acknowledge all BIG outcomes from the trilogy" and give us the chance to either play as Shepard (to continue on from the 'destroy' ending so that us fans who have grown with this series get our one last dance with Shepard) or let us play as Ryder to further craft their legend for those who have decided Shepard's fate in 'Mass Effect 3'? I honestly think that could be a huge possibility. The only thing they would have to do is tweak certain dialogs surrounding those crucial decisons from the previous entries because the priority of this next game is what's next for our protagonist so most of the writing will be about the galaxies next big challenge.

Honestly, if I had to guess where they're going to take it, I'd say having Shepard return regardless of what ending you chose makes the most sense. And of course, they'd be the main character that we get to customize and control. Even though I think Ryder will return and be a part of the next game's story, I don't think they'll be a playable character, but might have a controllable scene or two similar to the way we controlled our twin in Andromeda for a little bit.

Any chance Shepard is the reaper then his transferred to a get then we get a terminator situation that’s why we can’t see his face or something like that from the control option

It is quite simple. You make 3 different beginnings in ME5. One for each choice of ending to show simply that the other two choices are not choices. After Shepard's choice the game just fast forwards to the same point in history with the different Shepard character who is asked to make the same choice once again..and again...and again...until the realisation dawns that there is and always was ONLY one true choice. That is to combine to evolve to the next level of Humanity. From there ME5 can continue....

Sure, anything's possible at this point! If the Jardaan returned to the MW, then the chances of the anomalies being the Scourge go wayy up.

I'm 67 years old. I've probably played this game for longer than you've been alive. And because I will probably never be able to finish

They may have changed the combat since I played but dragon age is great

Very good pod, I enjoyed listening to this! Happy Andromeda was covered although some of the things said left mixed feelings because of some of the negativity, I get it. I just don't like being reminded about it. If it were not for Andromeda I may still not have played any of it. I played Andromeda several times before my curiosity kicked in about the whole Mass Effect Universe. I then tried playing the Legendary addition did'nt like it at first, created a character I liked, tried it again and fell in love with all of it since. I'll be one to step to the plate and say "I love Andromeda "and don't care what the haters of it say or think! They can go kick rocks as far as I'm concerned. I love that game and will continue playing! Probally because when I'm playing Andromeda I'm playing it not comparing it to the Trilogy and Play Sister Ryder as her own person.Same with FemShep.Now Mass Effect Legendary and Andromeda are my two favorite games above any other games that I have in my library and I spend much much more time playing them than any of the rest! People need to quit their of hate Ryder because Ryder ain't Shep. That's their problem! Makes me sick hearing how people dog Ryder which is why I quit listening to many Mass Effect pods! I know people have there preference but enough is enough! (Not refering to You two, your pods are cool and I love listening along with Mr. H, and the Mass Effect lorecast guys) Keep up your great work!!

I hope I was able to articulate why I personally didn't like Andromeda. It's a very specific type of game that was essentially built to not vibe with my player preferences at all. Which is unfortunate, cause I really wish I could enjoy it. Very glad that you like it though, it's not a terrible game, just not something I personally vibe with.

@@paragonseven I undertand why you don't like it, no probs, it's definately not you or Kala I have a problem with. Or do I have a problem with any of the fans that dislike the game in general. It's the constant over the top criticisms from some of the Mass Effect fans that make it seem as if Andromeda was the #1 worse game of all time. there are plenty of games far far worse. I just don't think Andromeda was as bad as most fans make it out to be. I'm having lots of fun playing it. I will admit that some of the dialogue was chessy and I didn't like some of it myself, but for the most part even that wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. And I also thought the story itself was interesting. I'm glad they did not try to make Ryder into another Shepard and that Ryder was their own person, personality etc. I just don't like that that game got criticized so bad that now BioWare won't make a sequel. It doesn't have to be something blended in with the next Mass Effect but I think they should make a seperate game sequel after the next Mass Effect game. Give the fans who love Andromeda a chance to play as Ryder again. I think they would do a great job with it the second time if they would just give it a chance and change a few things up.

Actually weak Ryder to Shepard level Ryder would make for a great character arc.

So knowing the Citadel is a large Mas Effect Relay the Reapers used. What if the Geth used the technology of their Telescope with the Citadel and used it to go to Andromeda?

Hmmm...I was debating the geth telescope being something like this with Kala, but we have no indication that it'd be able to do this. Also, in the comics, the geth telescope is said to be pointed at the Andromeda galaxy, but that the geth were looking for something else. It was extremely vague, but I don't think the geth were trying to go to Andromeda.
