She's with commander shepard. They know that if he really wanted to rob them he could do it with a paperclip, a snarky comment, that gun that pops up out of nowhere in cutscenes, and a renegade interrupt, one quarian is at the bottom of their list of fears. Of if it's paragon shep, they know that as long as he is there, that casino is the safest place in the galaxy.

That was a change from 1 to 3 they never showed in depth but after Tali helped she became famous like the others, not Shepard level famous. But it made the universe begin to rethink the species.

My headcanon, although it's highly possible that it's not truth at all, is that Shepard gets indoctrinated if they don't pick destroy ending and thus, the cycle continues and what is on screen is not actually happening. My proof for this crappy theory? *Did you know that Shepard's eyes will turn to illusive man's eyes if you choose any ending but destroy?* -If this is not your headcanon and you're reading this, please don't feel offended by my idiocy, It's probably bullshit (but still somehow my headcanon)

Tali best romance, period. It transcends stereotypes, xenophobia, looks, etc. In my eyes it is the purest of them all, because of her and her background, her species, the fact she can't show her face, etc and despite all that you still love her, even withouth having seen her real face, you love her for who she truely is before anything else. And the dialogues, especially in ME2, when she talks about feeling your sking on her own? Beautiful yet heartbreaking. Because of who she truely is, deep down, that's the only thing that matters. It is a truely is a beautiful romance through and through.

I think that was the idea. Given it's the last thing released for ME3, they finally caved and gave people something upbeat and fun, and probably the ending most people wanted in the first place.

freedantheeternal Seriously, this could have fix'd the big dissapointment of the original ending, just think, you blown up the Reapers and then went to have a big fuckin party and have fun with everyone (but not without running some stupid clone and mercs still thinkin they can defeat the Shepard that blow up the Reapers, the Collectors, Sovereign, and then had fun falling through a fish tank). Also, I would have like to see Earth, without the destruction, or just see Tali's face if you choose Synthesis ending (which also cures the genophage strangely), or having to have a similar stupidly funny thing as Javik/James ends in bed with FemShep, but with Joker, only if you discouraged his relationship with EDI, never had a partner in the prior games and you asked about why he doesn't seem to be interested in the FemShep in ME3. Or just release a version of Tali singing without her mask (her voice really sounds great and clear in Rannoch).

Paul at some extent But you see, actually outright changing the ending would admit to it being terrible. The game's director blames the lead writer, and the lead writer says it was the director, but what's clear is it's a mess, but the company as a whole put up a strong face, refusing to admit to how terrible it actually was. Look at the Leviathan DLC. It is a patchwork fix to justify the ending, yet it was very clearly written by people far more talented than whoever actually wrote the ending. It doesn't fix the problems, and was also clearly written after the fact, but it makes things slightly easier to swallow. By the time Citadel was made, the actual anger over the ending had dimmed somewhat. Call it more of a slow boil. People were still upset, but they weren't screaming and filing lawsuits anymore. And there are people who don't like Citadel because it is what it is, unapologetic fanservice that gave us so much we wanted from the start, like more romantic elements, Wrex in the squad again, and so on. My actual approach is to simply not play Citadel until after the end of the game. Yeah, after the credits and the game reloads the old save, then you go do Citadel and call it the actual ending. Makes a much more pleasant capper on the whole thing. I'm actually looking forward to ME4 now simply from finding out it's being made by a completely different team in Edmonton instead of the Montreal guys. They're already hinting at multiple playable races, and the return of exploration and the Mako. I'm not convinced yet (it was Dragon Age 2 that convinced me to never preorder from Bioware blind again), but it seems like they're listening to the fanbase far more than the Montreal team ever did, even with a promise that they won't make the ME3 mistake and will actually have player decisions factor into the ending in a relevant manner. Next thing I want to know about is skills and equipment, and seeing how much actual RPG I'm getting in this sci-fi RPG turned choose-your-own-adventure shooter turned shooter with light RPG elements, maybe now turning RPG again.

freedantheeternal Well, that was the point of the Citadel DLC, atleast that is what it seems, giving back to the fan base. Admit that the ending was wrong would have been better overall than just giving a DLC. I have never much into Role Playing games, not sure why, but Mass Effect seems perfect to me as a introduction to the whole genre, coming from a old fan of doesn't-make-sense-at-all style of FPS, where the gameplay matters more than, well, anything, including graphics (a trend that has been reverting recently, still is wrong, gameplay, while it has a good history or not, is what should matter) and writing. Not sure if would blame BioWare for how the ending was at the end, I'd blame, EA, always messing and doing things wrong, surely this is why they have been the worst company in the U.S two years in a row. In Example, Crysis 3. It has some strong points, but it just feels short, and rushed, pretty much like any recent EA game. This is coming from someone who actually likes to find what the writers meant while doing the dialogue and influencing the overall plot, something for example I don't find on the Indoctrination Theory, and I decided to make my own, Reapers influencing organics until they reach a point of "being ready" for synthesis, or "How anyone knows the Catalyst name? Only the Reapers may know something!, or maybe it was the Catalyst who dropped the "plans" for the Crucible as a part of a test; even the name "Crucible" name just means, "A very difficult and trying experience, that acts as a refining or hardening process" Anyway, didn't the lead director of the Mass Effect trilogy, Casey Hudson, part ways with Bioware? I am also looking forward for ME4, just now, for the overall use of the Frostbite engine, I just don't care for the promises they are making until they show some actual game footage, I learned my lesson with the first Mass Effects, don't expect anything until you actually play them.

This is just beautiful.

Nothing is ever going to surprise me after seeing Tali singing.

OH MY GOD that's how shepard should have defeated the reapers there's nothing worse than shepard dancing.

Okay the destroy ending has to be the true end. The clone could replace everything that was synthetic. I want my Sheppard's happy ending with Tali!

There's no true end because ME3 has no end. Fuck the Starchild and all his retarded nonsense.

This is by far the funniest DLC that i have ever played, sometimes i just make a new Playthrough just to do this part, and because of Wrex and Grunt, the two most badass Krogans in the Milky Way.

She's so adorkable I love it!

Besides, aren't Quarians using cybernetic implants? Whose to say that they are not affected by the destruction wave? Also, sure you can fix the physical platform...but what about their minds?

SMAXZO if were going by that logic, the destroy ending would mean the genocide of all beings with cybernetic implants; which means almost everyone in the galaxy. im sure quarians can live without augmentations for a while, besides, most of them are "cured" of there weak immune system. as for the geth; i suppose it would be as simple as remaking there software exactly how it was before the blast.

no relationship in the series is as good as tali whether EA put more time into it or not the singing in the dlc made the already awesome romance 4000% better

Hmm garrus is a close second. I’ve never fem shepd but watched the full complimation. In fact to my knowledge he’s the only other romance that uses terms of endearment toward shep. He pairs well with a more slightly renegade shep but he sticks by your decisions unless tali kills herself.

Uh, Garrus is the best ME ship, probably even in all of BioWare. Lol. But that’s just my opinion, like it’s just your opinion Tali is the best.

They should have made it so when you go to the sushi restaurant, your shep is wearing something nice. It's weird hearing both Liara, Tali compliment an outfit they seen me in on the ship

Watching this again reaffirms the fact that romance with Tali was the best, no contest, especially in comparison to inferior likes of Ashley and Miranda

the end of citadel dlc is my favorite gaming moment of all time. the music is on point and brings the feels to your gut and a tear to your eye.

oh, that music at the end gets me. so good.

Tali's singing is brilliantly executed. Between her suit muffling both her voice and potentially her breathing, it makes her singing imperfect, yet it has the potential to be flawless.

After Tali starts singing shepherd "what have i got myself into"

I love watching these and seeing how adorkable she is. This always makes me so sad with the ending in mind, shore-leave ends and then the tears start rolling. I always wonder what happened to the Shep Family afterwards?

That "the best" line at the end broke my heart. I'm a manly man, with about as much emotion as a teaspoon, a job as a lumberjack, and a history of not caring at all... but that line broke my heart into tiny little pieces and scattered them upon the ashen ground of my soul the first time I heard it.

As much as I'm looking forward to Mass Effect Andromeda I'm going to miss everyone from this trilogy. I loved playing with them all.

I believe singing and the bit of cheese is kind of to be expected. Tali I wouldn't say is the most spectacular singer, but her more ordinary singing quality is what makes her unique. It's the thought of what she's trying to sing that counts, and that thought alone is enough for how Shepard and Tali see eye-to-eye.

thansk for this video, bcs i did this mission before getting tali in mass effect 3 bcs the devs give u this dlc in the middle of the game .... so stupid and i missed all this romance scenes with talo such a shame and i had no save do reload before the mission

Playing through this romance arc all those years ago, it was all worth it for this moment 3:52 For a character that you never see their face, Tali has so much character.

The Citadel DLC is one of the most satisfying conclusions to a saga I've ever Witnessed

Oh God. I came here from a link talking about how well Mark Meer delivers the final lines for the Citadel DLC and just 12:13, I didn't think they let you get that delicate and quiet in videogames. I didn't think the mics could even pick that up.

Every character you met in mass effect 1 to 3 is truly remember able. Like the reaper in the in the first one very few dialogue but still able to remember your conversation with him.
