Masculine Transparency | The Liberating Power of Tears

Masculine Transparency | The Liberating Power of Tears: This was the first time I cried in front of my students (2015) and you'll see how it freed them to express themselves outside the box of false masculinity. #SavingBoys

@@kension333 i would say they would be allowed... and to not deter such a person of said beliefs, the main underlying teaching point is not a thought / philosophy, but a feeling (i.e. love -> passion) that imbues your thought/intent... which bruce lee happened to figure out in his own way...

I needed this as a boy, i still need this and im 34. Every video on this channel i tear up because i see the truth in his words. It is not weak to cry and have emotion, that weakness comes from being controlled by that emotion. Our opponents can learn to use our emotion to defeat us. So we must be the one at the reigns of our chariot guiding the senses to act.

I really really enjoyed watching this video. The Instructor believed in that boys ability to accomplish that which the kid did not believe he could accomplish. He used that breaking of the board as a great example in what we all face in everyday life, how most will never reach thier potential that God has given them because they believed the lie that they couldn't do what they wanted & wished they could do. So many hve laid apon thier death beds & looked bk in retrospect & felt the sheering pain of knowing they had this discussion ability, they had these talents & gifts God had given them, they had passions & desires, visions & dreams, incredible ideas, they had things they wanted so badly to do in life. They had Spiritual Gifts {1 Corinthians ch.12}, a calling, an anointing & a purpose. Now they lay in thier death bed, with not much time left, consumed with shame & regret because they allowed FEAR to paralyze, cripple & debilitate them. Fear that they couldn't do the thing God called you to do. Fear of embarrassing themselves. Fear of humiliating themselves. Fear they would look & sound stupid. Fear of others opinions & thoughts of you. They believed they COULDN'T; so they DIDN'T. It reminds me of a quote I once heard but dnt remember who spoke it initially. But they said "If you say you can't; then chances are you can't." We are the ones who put the limitations apon ourselves. Truth is, I'm preaching this TO ME!!! I also liked that they incorporated the Lord & His Word in it. So it must be a Christian Martial Arts Dojo. What disappointed me however, was that 2 or 3 times he speaks & applies these truths to seemingly the black race. Why? Does not the hardships & adversities apply to whites & Latino & Asians & American Indians, ect; ?????? That's not Christian & it really was a bit disappointing. Idk.

Strangerdenfiction please look at his audience. I pray you support him so he open up to more boys and that the families of these groups you mention will be willing to participate. Until then let your disappointment be fueled to the system that keeps all these groups oppressed.

I know you take none of this Glory for yourself, and that is VERY powerful in a young man's mind. What a great thing you are doing. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, YOU ARE NEEDED

This is so sad. He could be teaching the same principles without brainwashing them with religion. The reason people brainwash their kids with religion is in their holy book ("train up a child in the way that he should go and he will not depart from it"). They know if children were permitted to grow up first, and learn how to think for themselves, and THEN tell them about gods, devils, angels, sacred ghosts, they'd see it for the man-made foolishness that it is. Eventually, if we don't blow ourselves up first, humankind will learn how to live by what is real and knowable, not by religious superstition. This man means well, but that doesn't justify indoctrinating children when they are helpless to question it and you're able to make them believe it for life. It is, frankly, child abuse. You don't need to make stuff up to train children to be great adults.
