No More Church Boys: Training Up Boys to be Men of God

As I was purging some of The Cave of Adullam Transformational Training Academy's class footage this morning, I came across this good discussion I had with one of my 6-9 year old rite of passage groups regarding being a "tree" that produces good fruit. I decided to share this with you all, especially parents because in today's times it's imperative that our children are trained up in a way that they will produce God's power instead of playing the "church boy" role (i.e. playing church instead of being the church). #SavingBoys

Maan, combining martial arts and bible study! Never seen something like it, should be more because Christianity is all about the good fight. I'm a girl, I used to do martial arts, I know the target for this Cave313 is boys, but I wish there would be classes like this for girls too. I too have a persistent kind of temptation, and God has been training me to battle. I think the physical training aspect of this really helps the mentality. Sometimes we forget how intense the battle is. I have to think like a warrior.

@Thieving Americanos If I’m registering what your saying correctly about freedom drones and democracy bombs, if we are gonna talk about america and war then let’s call a spade a spade. I am blessed to live a country that has the freedoms that it has. At the same time this country goes to war for unjust means. Also, we get into other countries business when we need to fix our own.

@Thieving Americanos America ain’t perfect, but it’s my country of origin, and I’m all for the people. The last time I checked, there are other countries thieving in some kind of way. If they are not stealing minerals from Africa or resources from other countries, then there stealing from it’s own people. And since you talkin about my country, let’s call a spade a spade and talk about yours.

Beautiful truth expressed so that a child can understand. Love the expression “No More Church Boys!” That is so true. Raising boys who talk church but don’t live the church. I was one of them as a result of not knowing how to handle a serious trauma. I’ve come a long way but adding these tools will help me to help others. Sincere love for you beautiful brother.

Btw he’s teaching them to believe in the one true God: In English we call Him- The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He’s using the beautiful original language but he’s describing the Christian God. Not Jewish or Muslim.

I think that's why it resonates. He's talking about our God and not other people or religions. He's talking about Jesus, the son of God, he's teaching them how to be faithful to their wife and to be disciplined in the lord. I find it truly righteous because of the fact that it is following the Bible.

Sir, I've a doubt. This school emphasizes on training the mind so that one can fight the battle in the mind or to engage in fight with someone who brings distress to us and fight them using the name of Jesus. I'm not making an argument here sir....but this is my critical doubt I've always had.
