During the pandemic, I learned to cook... now I can't wait to try different meals, buying new kitchen gadgets, etc. Thanks for this video!

I'm gearing up to re-enter the bachelor pad era after moving back in with my parents to start flipping houses in real-estate. I'm doing great now, business is well and so I'm looking to have my own place again but with a new perspective of design from real-estate as well as a much, much deeper understanding of the refined, traditional man I am now at 32. My point in saying all of this is THANK YOU FOR YOUR CHANNEL! Fresh perspective, unbiased opinion with practical insight and just overall competence. Keep going!

Use plastic or poly cutting boards for meat. They can be put in the dishwasher.

Love your ideas, but stainless cuttingboard (and glass or stone) are the worst for the knives edge, dull knives are like dull drill bits or saw in the chop/garage, it cuts bad, takes extra time and leaves a bad cut in the material, or on you. Ceep your tools in good condition, both in the kitchen and the garage. Plastic or rubber cuttingboards aren't that fun to look at but they are excellent for processing meat in the kitchen. A good thick wooden gutting board are nice to look at and lasts a long time if you treat them right, and also great for serving on. I have, and like my counter top in stainless steel, easy to clean and maintain, but they do get scratches and dints over the years.

I agree with most of the advice except for the open shelving, they're a dust magnets.

Never met a woman who makes tastier meals than me.

Use plastic for poultry. Not work and stay away from metal cutting board. You’ll kill your knives.

Don't get anytjing other than a wood cutting board of you don't wanna ruin your knives... stainless steel, glass, and stone cutting boards destroy knife edges instantly, and should never be used for cutting against.
